A 1200 sq foot deluxe house located on a gated 17 acre property with a pond, horses, geese and dogs. Slate tiles throughout with an open floor plan. Wide screen TV, fully furnished kitchen and washer and dryer. The beamed ceilings, brick wall and a wood burning furnace add character to this charming place. Fenced back yard and delightful screen porch for your morning coffee. There is a queen sized bed down stairs and a day bed and a single bed upstairs (slightly steep stairs). The bath is located off of the main bedroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and will come stocked with food for an additional charge if requested. Yes, there is internet service and cable.

Summary: I normally stay in a hotel when I visit family. This time I decided to stay in a house and I’m glad I chose this one. It was very quiet and secluded, but close enough to restaurants and stores to make it convenient. The house was clean and comfortable. The host was very nice and responsive. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. I’ll stay here again when I come back.

Summary: This is a self contained guest house that comes with all the amenities necessary for either an overnight visit or a more extended stay. The bathroom is spacious and has a walk-in shower that is handicapped compliant. The U-shaped kitchen overlooks a large common area. Check-in and Check-out was easy. My only regret is that we weren't there when all the camellias and azaleas were blooming.

Summary: We had a fantastic time while staying at this lovely home. Brenda and her husband were very hospitable and made my family feel welcomed. Brenda greeted us with fresh flowers from her home and took the time to introduce her horses to my children. Worthy of note is that the house was stocked with every amenity you can think of which truly made me feel like this was a home away from home.
