Summary: We had a perfect stay here. The apartment was exactly as described. It was clean and comfortable and accommodated our party of 5 perfectly. The area is just off the beaten path in a quiet seaside town with a path by the ocean. It was great for our family. Communication with the host weeks prior to our arrival was not great. Once we were within a week of arrival, we received an email and telephone number. We needed to reach out in hopes of an early check-in, and folks were very kind, responsive and accommodating. The only recommendation that I can offer is to have fans available. The rooms can get quite warm, and cross ventilation is limited due to the structure of the building. Fans would be helpful for the warmer summer days.

Summary: Very nice place and location. It’s a very small town but this apartment was clean and super convenient for our family.

Summary: The apartment is on the small side. The bathroom was clean but the floor looked stained and the toilet like to flush constantly. We had to push and hold the button (many times) to get it to stop flushing constantly. The listing is a little misleading, you don't get to pick which apartment you want, so you might not be right on the water or even have an ocean view as promised. Even if you do get an ocean view, you can't get to the water's edge without crawling over a lot of large boulders. The restaurant that was recommended was not good, there were not a lot of options and the food was bland. On the plus side, we could see the aurora from the parking lot and we watched a beautiful sunrise over the water. I would not stay again, knowing that the price is way too high for the quality that we received. The address that was listed was incorrect, so we had to drive around town in the dark looking for the right place. Luckily the town is fairly small and there is a road along the "ocean view" houses.

Summary: I just wish we could have stayed longer… the apartment was clean, spacious and the kitchen was well supplied. The host was pleasant and accommodating. We loved watching the sun “set” over the ocean. It took us just a little under an hour to get to the Blue Lagoon and was also easy to get to Selfoss.

Summary: My father, brother and I stayed at this property for one night during a boys' trip to Iceland in October 2021. Check in was easy, the property had tons of space (one room with two singles and one room with a king, I think) and was extremely clean. Proximity to the ocean made for great morning views. Would highly recommend this property to others.
