Summary: We appreciated being allowed an early check-in, and it was nice that some condiments and toiletries were provided. Unfortunately, these small conveniences didn’t make up for the serious issues we encountered.We ended our stay early after returning one afternoon to find both the garage and house doors wide open. It was extremely unsettling and made us feel unsafe staying there.Cleanliness was also lacking—dishes had been put away dirty, the bathroom rug was in need of washing, and there was visible pink mold on the bottom of the shower curtain. The kitchen was not well equipped and lacked basic items like mixing bowls and a spatula.There was also frequent foot traffic from individuals walking between the property and the lake, which added to our discomfort.The outdoor setting is beautiful, but the condition of the home and the overall experience were disappointing- did not match the value to the listing. We have requested a refund and would not return.
