Situated on the edge of the small rural village of Paule, this fully renovated detached cottage in the garden of the owners French holiday home, has been finished to a high standard to provide a comfortable holiday base. Available all year round, the excellent wall radiators and log style fire give a comfortable and peaceful stay.
The owners are not usually resident when visitors are there to give maximum privacy.
TV is available in both English & French, free WIFI is also available.
Nantes Brest canal is nearby where kayaks can be rented. The night sky gives huge opportunity to skywatch. The swimming pool is heated to approx 25c but after rain this will be cooler. Outside garden games are kept in the box on the terrace where 4 bicycles are available to use. In season some fruits and salads can be picked and used by guests.

Summary: It was nice but it was not possible to make darkness in the main bedroom . So it was not easy to fall asleep. I already mentioned it to the owner. Otherwise everything was ok.

Summary: Lovely place. Owners on same site. Well equipped kitchen, heating worked well (late September visit so we didn't use the pool). Good sized bathroom and lots of hot water. Overall a lovely place to stay.

Summary: We were due to travel in June for the Tour de France in Brittany stages, but were thwarted by Covid! Jenny was brilliant at re-arranging our stay to September and ensuring everything went smoothly. Although we missed the tour, we managed to cycle the lovely routes around the well located gite and Jenny and Kevin were great hosts. We even managed to get in the pool as the weather was mostly kind to us. We had a great time in the gite and would recommend it to others.

Summary: We are gonna make that short and sweet... if you are unhappy in this cottage, we dont know whats wrong with you. It has everything you could ask for and if you are lucky, Kevin and Jennifer (your Landlords) are there too and you can have a few nice conversations. Our Dog also loved it. We will defenitly come back Thank you very much

Summary: Very clean and well equipped gite, interesting building and history. Great location for exploring central Brittany but within access of South, West and North coasts.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was cosy and well maintained. Lovely garden for our daughter and two dogs to play in. The fridge welcome pack was well received. Nice pool area to sit and relax by too. We found some nice walks by the canal and visited les gorges du Corong and Lac Dr Guerledan nearby. Would recommend both. The owners could not have been more helpful from booking though to our stay itself. Would highly recommend.
