Summary: The property is a well equipped sympathetic barn conversion. The space is well designed and nothing disappointed. The area is extremely calm and quiet, very relaxing. Marie-Paule is a most genial landlady and kindly gave us home made jam, fresh from the property.

Summary: A wonderfully pleasant host who is willing to communicate regardless of first language differences. The garden is very large, green, planted well with flowers and for shade, while also quiet and private. The interior is well planned and equipped. This property is suited for a day of rest away from it all, or a short ride to everything else. Definitely a stay worth your consideration.

Summary: Local village is a nice walk away, has a Boulangerie, Epicure and a fabulous butcher. There is also a great Portuguese restaurant which is very good value for money and offers a plate du jour or a La carte. We bought most of our supplies locally and would highly recommend the Gite

Summary: This charming farm cottage is the perfect place to stay in Dordogne. It is located in beautiful and quiet countryside within easy driving distance to the places you want to see in Dordogne, including Sarlat, La Roque Gageau, Domme, Beynac, Vergt...It is also just 20 minutes from the large city of Périgueux. The cottage itself is very comfortable, with a full kitchen, great cookware, beautiful dishes, and everything you will need for a short or long stay. My husband and I loved it! The owner and her good friend are great hosts and very attentive. We will miss them! We highly recommend this great place, and can't wait to go back!

Summary: There were no instructions on how to get to the property from La Douze the google maps reference is incorrect and leads you to the other side of La Bouchardie. If we had not asked a passer by if he knew Marie-Paule we would probably still be looking for the property. There should have been a communication from Home Away prior to our arrival. We feel that Home Away are letting Marie-Paule and her wonderful property down
