Escape to this spacious, family-friendly home located on a peninsula on St. Jeromes Creek. Close to Chesapeake Bay and boasting 270 degree panorama view of the water, enjoy 900 ft of waterfront delight. Outside, you can indulge in wildlife viewing , osprey, and eagles nesting nearby, fish, crab, or swim from the 1200+ square foot pier. Also for your enjoyment, be sure to utilize the provided 50 x 20 pool (with an automated protective cover for safety), kayaks, bikes, paddle board, and large, eight-person hot tub - all available for guest use.
Inside your waterfront escape, discover a gourmet kitchen with ample gleaming countertops, high-end appliances, and a copper farmhouse sink. Your family will adore relaxing and unwinding in the adjacent living room with ample seating along with a large screen TV. Also on this main level, you will find a designated office space, the first of the main bedrooms, along with another bedroom and full bathroom.
The primary bedroom is an oasis that features another work desk, easy outdoor access, and a luxury en-suite bathroom. Indulge in a bubble bath when you dip into the impressive soaking tub or equally beautiful walk-in shower. Dual sinks and a large walk-in closet round out the excellent amenities this space provides.
Upstairs take in the view of the fabulous Chesapeake Bay from the large A-frame window. The kids will love this space for their weekend morning cartoons and board game nights. A dart board and mini air hockey table are also available for their play.
End the evenings with a dip in the pool or watch the sunset from the hot tub. Gather around the firepit to roast s'mores as you reminisce on the sweet memories you've made thus far and those to come.

Summary: We had a milestone birthday to celebrate in our family and decided to really treat ourselves to renting this lovely home only 2 hours from DC. It was absolutely perfect in every way. Water views---spectacular!! Spent the entire weekend with family and a few friends in the pool, hot tub, playing outdoor chess by the pool, kayaking, biking, fishing....just sitting and watching to gorgeous wildlife (Eagles/Ospray/Blue Herons/Egrets....bluebirds/kingfishers/cardinals! Also the house itself so very comfortable--you can cook and look out on the water. Grill a bonus. A fully stocked kitchen with anything you could need--this was a big deal for us because we are big cooks--and to actually have spices on hand and great cookware a plus. Oh--and although we didn't want to leave the property really --we thought we should explore the area and highly recomment--Point Lookout State Park is only 10 min drive and totally gorgeous. Excellent and kind hosts-we will be back!! Thank you

Summary: What an amazing place! We disrupted a hoodlum Canadian goose party of 50+ on the Lido deck when we arrived, so there was 15 minutes of goose poop hosing down that needed doing before cocktails could be had by all. I mean, I had MINE, but my husband manfully sacrificed himself and cleaned up the mess with the conveniently located hose before having his beverage.😁 Every possible wish was catered to at the house, from games to specialty gourmet kitchen appliances, tools and machines. I love that ice maker! And that kitchen is incredible. Such a cozy place to be, but also so spacious and private. So much wildlife around, beyond the incontinent geese there was. Pair of bald eagles that spent a morning chatting to each other in the giant oak tree, snowy egrets flying across the end of the yard and melanatonic squirrels in the front driveway. It was incredibly easy to pop the mile up to the main road to the Dollar Store for any random shopping needs, and there’s a really terrific winery about 5 minutes away. We loved the pool, hot tub, corn hole and giant chess/checkers as well a the retractable awning covered outdoor seating area. And a fire in the pit at the end of the property at night with s’mores was the perfect way to end a glorious evening.

Summary: The house was very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with any kitchen item you need. Plenty of extra space (office and play room) if you needed to fit extra people on air mattresses. We enjoyed our time on the outdoor couches and lounging around the pool and hot tub. The owner was very responsive and communication was excellent. Highly recommend!
