Casa Gina Costa Rica is a private, romantic and secure home on a 1 1/2-acre jungle lot, located within the gated community of Rancho Manuel Antonio. Just minutes by bus or car to Quepos or the national park, our two bedroom, two bath fully air conditioned home was designed from the start to provide you with a peaceful and rejuvenating experience.
A beautiful private pool with sandstone deck and private palapa with wet bar is the perfect place to spend your day. Double teak doors greet you from the main entrance and continue in each of the rooms. The home is furnished with high end custom made Guanacaste furniture, a dark and luscious wood that is the national tree of Costa Rica.
We brought the outside in: The main living area features a twelve foot ceiling decorated with teak and comfortable seating for eight. Whole house A/C units will keep everything cool and dry. Six sliders open into the pool area and main deck from the living area to form one large room, opening the home to the outside rain forest. Abundant recessed dimmer controlled lighting throughout the home provide a soft comfortable glow for entertaining or relaxing.
A comfortable place to spend your day is on one of Casa Gina's four decks. Many birds including toucans, three types of monkeys, sloths, iguanas and the majestic Blue Morpho butterfly call this area home. A gas grille is the perfect way to cook all of the fresh fish, chicken and vegetables that are available from the farmers market in town.
Our kitchen is tastefully designed with teak cabinets, granite counter-tops and quality stainless steel appliances. All expected small appliances are provided including an ice maker. A very complete set of utensils, pots and pans will make creating your own meals a delight. A breakfast island and wet bar for four invite you to linger and share a laugh or two with friends. The Guanacaste wood dining table has seating for four.
Both bedrooms feature king sized beds and quality bedding. Store your personal belongings in the beautiful matching armoires and nightstands. A remote controlled, A/C unit plus ceiling fans assure a comfortable nights rest. Individual private covered decks with large sliders bring the outside in and give you a quiet place to sit and read or to enjoy the sounds and sights of the rain forest. Each of the two full baths are finished with sandstone floors and shower enclosures. Teak counters, vessel sinks, rainfall shower heads and mood lighting complete the rooms.
Enjoy the quiet privacy of Casa Gina or immerse yourself in the warm friendly culture that is Costa Rica. Casa Gina is located five minutes from the town of Quepos and seven minutes from the beautiful white sand beaches of Manuel Antonio National Park. There are dozens of restaurants ranging from typical Costa Rican "sodas" to gourmet dining within minutes of the home.

Summary: Casa Gina is in a beautiful, unspoilt and quiet location. It is so easy to stay there with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The villa is so well equipped. As you are surrounded by trees and plants, a variety of wildlife can be seen from macaws to capuchin monkeys. It is easy to explore the local area from the villa and beaches such as Uvita and Dominical should not be missed. There are plenty of tours too which Carlos, the house manager,can book for you. Supermarkets are in easy reach as are a selection of good restaurants with amazing views. We would not hesitate to stay at Casa Gina again!

Summary: This is a wonderful property in a tranquil setting to experience Costa Rican life. Property manager Carlos was great in helping us with local tour arrangements. He was very responsive with any problems and questions. The property is perched on a steep hill and a car is a must to get to grocery stores and restaurants.

Summary: Amazing stay, owners and the property manager were super helpful and the house was definitely love at first sight. We saw towns of animals and insects while enjoying the pool during the afternoon. Would stay there again with no hesitation!

Summary: This lodging is fantastic. The place is has beautiful décor, comfortable beds, very clean and the best property manager you can imagine. He really goes out of his way to help with any needs you many have. He even came and helped change a tire when we blew out our tire on a car rental. His name is Carlos and I don't know what we would have done without him. If you want groceries delivered to the house, he will also do that. Since a grocery store is quit a ways away, this can be very helpful. The pool is wonderful and has a bar and bbq. In the mornings and afternoons we had monkey frequent the property. Also, iguanas and even a sloth climbed down a tree one evening. I the only thing I would recommend is having a 4 wheel drive vehicle because the driveway is very steep and if is rains is can be slippery, Our SUV Mitsubishi rental would not make the climb , and we had to park below. But I would not let this discourage you, The place will be a highlight of your trip and so will Carlos. I liked that Carlos met us and led us to the property and explained all the lights, remote controls, security system etc. The experience you will have at this property will be a highlight of your trip.

Summary: We stayed with our family of four with two elementary aged kids. We loved this house! As everyone says—the house is well-stocked with everything you need. The patio and pool are wonderful and we enjoyed seeing monkeys around the property nearly everyday. The house is close to everything but feels very private and peaceful.

Summary: We had a nice stay at Casa Gina, a beautiful home nestled on a mountain between Manuel Antonio National Park and downtown Quepos. The location is perfect—supermarkets and restaurants are just a short drive away. We recommend a 4x4 vehicle for the steep, rocky driveway that’s fun to drive! We loved the lush flora around the property and we spent a ton of time in the pool. Given the jungle setting, we were amazed at how few bugs there were and how clean the pool was, which only enhanced our experience outdoors. Although we experienced a challenge with no water for two days, we learned that this was due to ongoing work on a local pipe, affecting the immediate area. Carlos was incredibly responsive, stopping by to assist and keeping us well-informed throughout the process. After speaking with locals and doing some research, we discovered that occasional water issues can happen in the region, especially during maintenance work. Despite this, we were so grateful for Carlos' quick attention and care. We highly recommend Casa Gina for its stunning beauty, tranquil atmosphere, and exceptional service.
