Positive: Great location for exploring Sydney and we loved the historic property. Tea bags, coffee, milk and sugar were provided (albeit the sugar was in a half used bag that someone had clearly used a dirty spoon in). The kitchen had everything we needed for our short stay.
Negative: The facilities were dated (rusty cooker and shower rail, noisy tumble dryer) and the property needed a deep clean (it was surface clean but there was thick dust behind the beds and in the corners/on TV unit and the washing machine needed a cleaner before using). The property itself was quiet but located opposite a noisy pub, albeit it closed promptly at 10pm.

Negative: The second bathroom is tiny so we only used it as a last resort
Summary: The Rocks is a lovely area but be warned, it is quite hilly & lots of steps so be prepared!

Positive: Loved the location and the house itself was lovely and homely.
Negative: There is a bar across the road that is (obviously) very loud at night. Not the worst if you’re in the back room, but if you’re in the bedroom at the front and you have to wake up early for something - not great.
Summary: Really loved the location, interior and the ease of access, didn’t love the loud bar across the road at 1am.

Positive: Location was exceptional! However, the pillows need an upgrade, note this was suggested in comments back in October, uncomfortable and impacted on sleep quality, slats fell out of the uncomfortable beds, 6 towels, for 6 adults for 4 days, one hand towel and bath mat for each bathroom, seriously could have left some spares, not enough toilet paper, tiny 2nd bathroom with sink over toilet (what the??) kitchen pots were rusty, no nice extras like a coffee machine and pods, there was old bread in the cupboard and rice in the strainer, no cork screw, very limited supplies, one lounge to seat 6 people, bathroom showers needed a mould spray, dirty fans, definitely needs some extra love and attention for the price.
Summary: Location is the only thing this property has going for it

Negative: The cockroaches downstairs. Dirt, dust, hairs, greasy kitchen and utensils. So we did not use catering facilities. Upstairs bathroom particularly small. Front downstairs bedroom: Both bedside lamps broken. I took a photo. Wardrobe side of bed; had to remove bedside table to open the wardrobe doors.
Summary: Great location, poor standard of cleanliness.

Positive: Location. Kitchen facilities. Washing and drying facilities. Quirky property and allowed early check in which we were very grateful for.
Negative: Mould in the bathroom. Understand the lack of air on but the fans were dirty. Generally just needed a good clean and lick of pain.
