Summary: It smelled clean! The towels were not only clean, they were thick and very nice quality. The windows were very clean which was very nice to see the great view.

Summary: Our room was a bit outdated, but very clean and comfortable. They have a hot tub, pond, gazebo, fire pit and gas grill. Everything was well kept and we were able to do a little fishing! Dawn and dusk were magical. We were able to see elk each morning and night -either on the lodge property or on the golf course next door- and it was amazing hearing the bugling between the males and we also saw some sparring.

Summary: We have stayed here before a few years ago and it was ok now it is a totally different place good to see the improvements also great place to stay if you want to see the elk close up in rut on the golf course

Summary: The Discovery Motel was very clean. The breakfast area is a little small with a counter that is very crowded, meaning that there is no room to fix your coffee without blocking access to the toaster and other items. Also, my biggest issue is not just with the Discovery but with most motels is that for a couple or family there should be a couch that two people can sit in that is comfortable, without needing to sit on the bed to watch the TV..

Summary: Great location you can walk to downtown Estes Park along the river walk. This was a favorite spot for elk so you can see lots of them without driving around. Needs a little refresh and cleaning.

Summary: Everything was great! We were slightly disappointed that we couldn’t utilize the fire ring. There were plenty of precautions as to cause no problems

Summary: Location right outside of town. Not walkable to the down town. Had a second floor room, although the parking was at the front door. Nice outside balcony. Small mini-fridge with no freezer. Microwave (we don’t use) coffee maker with hotel pods (didn’t use). Shower and bathroom worked as they should. Bed (King) placed where it only could and that only allowed enough room for one person to stand at the foot of the bed and the other person could not pass by. On site ice machine. We left before the ‘free breakfast’ so we cannot advise to that. It was the first stop on our trip.
