Snolodge offers garage parking plus everything you need to hunker down and enjoy winter. This spacious four-bedroom home is the perfect place for a multigenerational get-together in every season. It is a wonderful spot for family and friendly get-togethers. The open main level floor plan will work well for the cooks, the kids, and the couch potatoes too. Shoot a game of pool while supper simmers and finish the day gazing at Canaan Valley's amazing night skies. It is short drive to tourist attractions like Blackwater Falls, Canaan Resort, and the towns of Davis and Thomas. Snolodge really does feel like home. Other than that, the view is amazing, right on the Salamander, beautiful wood fireplace and lots of room for guests.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 3rd year in this house. The layout is perfect for our family and we love the large open floor plan upstairs. However, this year we had a BIG challenge with the house's cleanliness and general maintenance. We love the fireplace, but noticed lots of black soot inside and out this year. The ceiling in the living room is gross, it needed cleaned last year. The refrigerator is making a loud sound. There must be something wrong with the electric running to the hot tub, we have had problems with it turning off each year...this year we asked a maintenance person to come. (When calling, we weren't treated great and were told that the on call person was busy getting a haircut.) The basement toilets are both slow and one leaking slightly. The dust lining the chair rail in the main level en suite bathroom was so thick I could write my name. Kitchen cabinets are grime covered and a layer of dust is visible in many areas. We want to book this house again, but are seriously concerned about what state the house will be in a year from now. Please do a comprehensive clean and the necessary updates. Or sell it to me, and I will and then book it through your site. Again, we love this house for our annual family trip...but someone must do better or we can't book with confidence.

Its not the most updated, but had everything you need for a couple days of skiing, including fully stocked wood for the fireplace. The hot tub overlooking the slopes was great with kids bc it kept everyone entertained!

Summary: We had a fantastic stay at Snolodge! Our family has been going to Canaan/Timberline for the last 50+ years. We have grown so much in number and we needed an additional house for everyone. Snolodge was perfect in both location and size. If you stay in the winter months you will need 4WD!! We will be returning!

Summary: We absolutely loved the lodge. It was all the way at the end and was super quiet and peaceful. It was super clean and had everything you could need to cook with and plenty of towels/blankets. We had a very easy experience with management as well. Overall super great!
