The main living space is open-concept, combining the living and dining rooms with the kitchen. Relax on the cozy couches as you flip through the cable channels on the large TV. Prepare a delicious home-cooked meal in the fully-equipped kitchen. If you'd rather dine outdoors, you'll find a large selection of patio furniture on the extended deck.
This elegant, newly constructed cottage sits a little more than 10 miles away from historic downtown Galveston in a quiet residential neighborhood located right alongside the beach. The Moody Gardens amusement park and Schlitterbahn Water Park are just six and a half miles away. Additionally, the Houston airport is a little more than 75 miles to the north. Beachgoers will love their minds when they realize that the beach is less than a tenth of a mile from your front door. If you're interested in surfing, boogie boarding, or stand-up paddleboarding, rentals and lessons are all available close by. There is a large commercial district a little more than seven miles away, which offers a variety of shops and restaurants.

Summary: House is beautifully furnished, and has a wonderful location with beautiful views, short stroll to an uncrowded beach, in a quiet location. A number of folks have stated they had difficulty gaining initial access, and that happened to us. That should be remedied. However, overall, great stay.

Summary: Comments FAULTY LOCK: The instructions didn’t match the lock. We managed to eventually get the lock to work. After unpacking we locked the door and were headed to a 6:00 p.m. dinner reservation. We realized we forgot something and tried to get back in BUT THE LOCK BOX WOULD NOT WORK. Called for help and left for dinner reservation. I let the customer service representative know that we had a small dog in the house. The Representative (Diego) assured me that he would send a new code for the door and a code to a separate box that held a key. When we returned we tried the new code but the lock wouldn’t work (and the spare key wouldn’t work because the doors were bolted on the inside) CALLED AGAIN. After a long period of time the new representative finally said she would send a locksmith to the house. It was dark and we were using our cell phone flashlights to see. Meanwhile the dog is going crazy inside. My husband started trying windows just in case one was unlocked. He found two. He let us in from the inside. A locksmith came over a short time later and replaced the faulty lock. We have NOT tried using the code instead we are using the key that was in the other lockbox. NOT A GOOD WELCOME EXPERIENCE. DISHWASHER: The top rack falls off. It needs repair or replacement. CLOTHES DRYER: When door is closed the dryer is full of condensation which contributes to the strong mildewy/musty smell in the master suite. (The washer/dryer are located in the closet in

Summary: We had a wonderful stay! It had all the space we needed. We did get locked out but I was able to get help within 30 minutes. I loved that it was a walking distance away from the beach. Good for morning walks and evening strolls. I will definitely be booking again.

Summary: Very nice house. Bed was comfortable very close to beach. Kitchen well Equipped…ice cube trays would be nice. We had problems with door lock and staying warm other than that it’s a great space!!

Summary: Had a great birthday weekend at this adorable cottage by the sea. Steps away from the beach, lovely interior, comfortable beds. Had a little issue with the lock system but the response of the locksmith was prompt. The lock needed a new battery! Other than that, we agreed that the place was great! They had a grill but no butane to light it. Next time I'll bring a portable one.

Summary: This is a great get away. It is peaceful and has spacious accommodations. I loved being able to get my walks in everyday and enjoy the view of the waves. My grands were able to play on the large outdoor deck. We were able to rinse off the sand from the beach before coming upstairs. I loved having a washer / dryer. It’s close enough to go visit all the attractions but away from the crowds. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Summary: This place was absolutely perfect!! Loved the lay out, how accessible everything was, pleasantly surprised (guess I read wrong) it was 3 full bathrooms! Everything was in working order, we even got a message stating we could check in early. Hard to find dog friendly homes, even though we left ours with caregivers to just enjoy the weekend with my daughter and her friends. Easy walk to beach, basics were provided, beds were super comfy, and just a good weekend despite weather! I would absolutely recommend this place and would love to stay again! Only thing was no propane for the gas grill, luckily in-laws live close so we borrowed theirs. People in reviews complained about conditions of home on outside but folks- it’s salt water air! I still give this place 5 stars for location, space, comfort and no issues!!

Summary: This house is in an older neighborhood and as I understand it's hard to escape beach wear and tear, so the outside of the cabin is maybe not the most appealing. However, inside is one of the cutest decorated cabins I've rented!! Perfect layout for 2 or even 3 families and tons of space. If I had a beach house I would want this exact floorplan! Bonus that we could bring our dog and there was plenty of room for her large crate. We loved being close to the beach though will say just heads up, the road is a public beach road so there was a lot of traffic and people at the beach entrance. Things to know: We were there in March. Weather was typical all over the place. So I'm glad I had brought extra blankets for the night because there weren't any there. The fan in the master bedroom/bath never shut off and yes, I made sure it wasn't just set to "on." There were 2 AC units but the main one never turned on or at least never changed the temperature so the bedroom one ran most always. It wasn't hot outside so I didn't worry about it but if you are there during summer I would immediately check that. Strange coffee situation for 2024 lol. If you are a large group or multiple time a day coffee drinker I would bring a large coffee pot or Kuerig. Would recommend but just things to be aware of.
