Stay at gorgeous BayRose Garden in the dog-friendly Sweet Pea Cottage, a delightful get-away for two people, surrounded by beautiful gardens, hummingbirds and butterflies!
Nightly rates starting at $195 with a 10% discount when you book a full week. Sheets and towels are included so all you need to pack is your tooth brush. Also included are paper towels, toilet paper along with coffee and tea. Special rates and minimum stay reduced starting in October.
BayRose Garden is the most incredible private garden available for rent. You will see species of plants unavailable at most garden centers. Host plants for seven different butterflies, so they are born and raised right here.
Located in Villas, New Jersey, 2 blocks from the bay beaches and 8 miles north of historic Cape May, this cozy, cottage style apartment was just freshly painted and redecorated in 2023.
Not only do you get to enjoy the colorful garden display, but the cottage walls are decorated with the original “Streets of Cape May” panorama series along with original floral and nature art to enjoy and even purchase to take home with you.
The delightful, dog-friendly Bay Beaches are right down the road for long morning and evening walks with your best friend. Sunsets and other wildlife abound.

Summary: Listen to "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Amstrong, and you will get a bit of the feeling I had at Sweet Pea Cottage, which is very confortable and perfect for two and a little dog. It was, for my wife and me, a place of calm, beauty (Lisa is a master gardener) and rejuvenating time. The neighborhood was also very calm so for us from the big city it was all a blessing. Reading on the long chair, looking at the garden, and eating at night in the gazebo were moments of intimacy with my wife. The sunset beach was our preferred place to swim and take sun. So a 10 on 10 !!

Summary: The property had beautiful flowering gardens and trees. The owner Lisa was very helpful and attentive to all our needs. We brought our dog and she let us know about all the dog friendly beaches and restaurants in the area. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Summary: We loved our stay at Sweet Pea cottage and so did our 11-pound Bolonka. Easy drive to downtown Cape May, quiet neighborhood, gorgeous garden. Lisa, our host, who lives in attached house, could not have been more welcoming. Everything in cottage was spotless and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Summary: We had a lovely stay at this cottage in a garden by the sea surrounded by beautiful artwork and late fall flowers. We came to go birding during the fall migration and were close to all the right spots. Being just two blocks from the beach was wonderful for long dog walks with my pup. Much appreciation to our gracious and attentive host! We hope to be back often.

Summary: The Sweet Pea Cottage is described accurately and is very clean, comfortable...and wonderful! The owner, Lisa, has created and maintained a lovely garden which surrounds the property; making the cottage private in a rather magical way. Lisa was very helpful with suggestions and directions of the area. Being able to walk to the beach is a major plus. The sunsets are not to be missed. We plan to return .

Summary: Sweet Pea cottage was a very cozy rental, surrounded by enchanting gardens. A short walk to the bay was such a nice way to start each morning. I was very happy to stay there and my doggie loved it too.

Summary: My friend and I had a girl's weekend and stayed at the cottage for four nights. We couldn't have been happier with it! Everything was so clean and it was just the right amount of space for the two of us! Lisa was so easy to work with and also provided lots of recommendations. The outdoor area and gardens are gorgeous and it's the perfect getaway spot. (also the bed is super comfortable) Already talking about going back!
