If you drive 10 miles north to Newport, you'll find plentiful restaurants, shops, the famous Oregon Coast Aquarium, and all sorts of entertainment and lovely scenery along the Newport Historic Bayfront. Waldport is only five miles south, and the charming town of Yachats less than 10 miles beyond.

Summary: Basically overall house was fine beds were clean and comfortable. Kitchen was equipped well with several ways to prepare coffee.There were several steps up to the main floor and then another flight to the Master Bedroom. Hot tub did not work on arrival or departure 3 days later even after calling several times. the beach at seal rock was great. we had dinner at Luna Sea one evening and it was very good.

Summary: This house is in a beautiful quiet area. There are two bedrooms, a large master suite upstairs and a small bedroom off the kitchen. The basement has a bonus room but with no furniture - it could act as a third bedroom if you brought your own bed (cot, air mattress, etc) and bedding. The carpet upstairs needs replaced but isn’t a huge deal. If you’re traveling with kiddos, the upstairs has a lot of light until it’s fully dark outside and early morning light. The kitchen is decently stocked with lots and pans and other equipment. There are no beach towels or other beach equipment or kids toys FYI so BYO if you’re planning some beach time.

Summary: Home was great, we have 3 (6-10) kids and a dog and it was very comfortable. The hot tub was a nice bonus and having a fenced in yard for or dog and or young kids was nice. Very close to Seal Rock Beach and close to downtown Newport.

Summary: My friend and I used this as a literal getaway, each driving about 8 hours to meet here. We loved the cleanliness, aesthetics, wifi, DVD selection, kitchen, lots of extras! The hot tub needed to be reset, then was great for a day and a half, then lost power. Other than that everything went really well...loved the wild bunnies in the yard and the frogs at night! Definitely recommend!

Summary: Master bedroom was excellent. Kitchen was very nice, but lacking some basic utensils needed for cooking. Pellet stove and Jacuzzi were both broken. Some of the cadet heaters were also non-functional.
