As you ride your bikes back from the beach each afternoon, you'll be greeted by a glassed-in sun porch that's perfect for reading, playing card games, or simply enjoying the view of the surrounding neighborhood. Inside, the living room, dining room, and kitchen come together in a light-filled space with hardwood floors, lovely wainscoting, and a built-in window seat. There's a gas fireplace to toast your toes as you watch the wall-mounted flatscreen TV (one of three in the house), space to dine at both the circular dining table and the two-person peninsula breakfast bar, and a separate study just off the kitchen that houses another flatscreen TV and the sofabed. There's a gas grill on the patio, and free WiFi to complement the cozy workspace in one of the upstairs bedrooms.

This property backs up to a tidal marsh and river, allowing you a view of the water from the upstairs when the tide is fully in. The house is also immediately west of downtown Kennebunkport's many darling restaurants, eateries, and shops, with the heart of the village easily accessed by walking, riding your bike, or driving just half a mile down Western Avenue. Beach-goers can take their pick of Mothers Beach (one mile south) and Gooch's Beach (just over a mile south), and golfers can tee off at the Webhannet Golf Club only one-mile southwest.

Summary: Loved the house: had everything. Check in was a little wonky: the code did not work but we called the management company and used the lockbox. The smoke alarm in the basement (locked) was also beeping but the management company helped us get access to fix it. Overall amazing house and perfect location: walk to the lower village downtown.

Summary: It’s exactly like the pictures. Everything is provided for you down to the coffee pods. It’s super close to everything. Even the beach if you’re up for a nice stroll. Unfortunately there was roadwork being done during our stay so we had to drive during the day but that didn’t deter us. We specifically chose to go during the off season so no complaints. We look forward to a future stay most likely during the off season again to avoid crowds.

Summary: We do an annual Christmas shopping weekend and this year decided to try Kennebunkport. The house was perfect for the 4 of us. It was very clean, comfortable and within walking distance to local restaurants. The only issue we had was the kitchen wasn’t well equipped if you like to cook. There were no large pots, or cooking utensils but we were able to make it work. We loved the house and are hoping to go back in warmer weather.

Summary: The Quaint Bungalow is just as it sounds. You feel at home the minute you walk in the door. The open floor plan, welcoming fireplace and living room, and closed in front porch provides plenty of areas to sit and relax. The bedrooms are great sized and very comfortable. The house is easily walkable or a 30 second drive to Kennebunkport and all of the shops and restaurants, and a short drive to the beach. My 5 year olds favorite part was the chipmunk (he named chocolate chip) that met us on the driveway every morning. Wonderful house!

Summary: The house is better than pictures shown on Vrbo. Very spacious. Beds were very comfortable, including the pull out couch bed in the den. Knowing there is no AC, was excited the bedrooms had window AC units. It is a short block to really nice breakfast/lunch restaurant and walking distance to Dock Harbor. Will consider this house again for future east coast trips.
