Located four miles south of Florence, right on the lovely Woahink Lake, this charming A-frame home is nestled in a serene space with a picturesque trail leading up to it - a perfect setting to enjoy the peace and quiet of the area. With beach access available a few miles up the road at South Jetty, Honeyman Park and its picnic areas just across the road, and the sand dunes also a short drive away, you will have plenty of amazing activities here! Plus, the friendly town of Florence is a quick five-minute drive away, so you can easily head into the city for a nice restaurant meal, a game of golf, some souvenir shopping, or a fun evening at the casino.
With two bedrooms (plus a loft) and two bathrooms, this home can easily accommodate six guests, and you're also welcome to bring your dogs with you, though please note that a small nightly fee applies. The main level of this home, the middle floor, features enormous windows that allow views of the lake, as well as a cozy sitting room and a full kitchen and dining area. Around the home you will have entertainment options including a TV with a selection of VHS movies to watch, board games, and even a game room downstairs with a foosball table.
If you head upstairs to the loft above the living room, you will find a sleeping area with a queen-size bed. The main level features two bedrooms, each with its own lovely queen-size bed where guests will sleep soundly. Summary: I absolutely love this home and amazing views, provided entertainment to the family with fishing, hot tub, games, puzzles, and a place to cook on the barbecue and in the kitchen. Love the proximity to town and restaurants.The home is very unique with a spiral staircase, and the three levels. The bed from the loft has the best view ever straight out to the lake when you wake up in the morning. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Summary: First, I had a great time here! The view is fantastic, the area is quiet and peaceful, and the home was clean and well stocked. However here are some WARNINGS if you are considering staying here: first, the stars to the loft and down to the basement are VERY steep and narrow. I am 5'3 200lbs and almost did not fit on the stairs, so keep that in mind. Second, there are NO blinds or a curtain for the loft, so when the sun comes up it beams directly into the bed with no way to block it out, so, hard to sleep in past sun up there. Additionally, the showers are TINY - I am not a very tall person and I was too tall, and has to keep the door open to fit. The toilets are also cramped and at wierd angles. The sliding door to the basement is also incredibly difficult to open, and the upstairs sliders are really narrow. Overall I had a great time and the place is lovely, but it seems fair to leave this info for others planning visits

Summary: The house is small. The loft is filled with sun light from dawn until late and there are no curtains. The refrigerator is small. The bathrooms are tiny, my pickup couldn't do the turn around of the circler drive without backing up. You have to squeeze around anyone at the dinning table to get in and out

Summary: Even though there are homes on either side we saw and heard no one else around. The whole neighborhood was quite and felt like we were the only ones there. The path to the private dock was short and the lake was also quiet. A note that the property does not supply water equipment but I brought my own paddleboard and found the cove a great spot for paddling as it blocked the wind. There are three bedrooms but one of them is in the loft and does not have a door, however since it was only two of us staying we loved this space, especially waking up to the view of the lake. The home is tucked back off the road down a long driveway surrounded by trees that made you feel like you were hidden in the forest. However, there is a spot halfway down the driveway that is very tight between two trees that our truck barley made it through. We also had troubles using the parking spot next to the home as we had do a multiple point turn to manever the truck in the tight space. We spent most of our time outdoors on the property between the lake, hot tub, and large deck, but the home itself was also lovely with everything that we needed. This property made it very hard to leave.

Summary: Very lovely older home on the lake. The views from the deck and living room are magical, lush and the air divine - a very old-forest feel. We had a wonderful stay! The furnishings are very comfortable, and the kitchen has everything you need. It is on the small side with spiral staircases going up to the loft and down to the den(?). The stairs are quite narrow which can make it difficult for some. The path to the lake/dock is a little steep in places and needs just a little trimming and a few more placed wooden slats for good traction up and down the slope. This home is minutes from the city of Florence with all the great stuff a small city on the water has to offer! We would definitely stay here again!

Summary: When we arrived there house looked exactly like it did online. The lake view was beautiful. When we went to explore inside we saw that there was some cleanliness issues like a dirty towel, a popsicle stick on the goose all table, and aluminum cans outside on the patio. Since you have to take the circular stairs to go up or down, touching the handrail was very sticky and gross. Lighting was a problem while we were there since the bulbs were burnt out. The bedrooms looked beautiful. We each chose one and decided to watch a movie. We grabbed a blanket out of one of the rooms since we were a little chilled. The blanket smelled sour and musty. The location was great.

Summary: What makes this home great is the view. The A frame is simple, but cute. It is not fancy or modern and a few areas are a little run down and could use some TLC. Having said that, I can tell they care about it and everything we needed was stocked and available. The best part by far is the view and the lake access. Overall we had a great time during our stay.
