Chinook House features a nice large open floor plan with slate floors, cathedral-style ceilings with special custom lighting, and a floor-to-ceiling wood-burning fireplace. This fabulous home is just a half block to the beach.
When you enter the home you are welcomed by the living room with its floor-to-ceiling wood-burning fireplace, large screen TV/DVD/VCR and surround sound, and open-concept living. The well-appointed kitchen has granite countertops and features stainless steel appliances and a gas stove top. The dining room has seating for six plus three bar stools at the counter. The main bedroom has a comfortable bed with a new mattress and a full bath with a large double-sided shower. The second bedroom has an inviting bed and another full bath on that same level. Also on this level are two decks, the front deck has ocean views, a gas BBQ, table, and chairs, and the back deck has a new hot tub to soak your worries away.
The upper level features a large open loft overlooking the living room with a pool table and futon. The lower level features a family room with a foosball table, TV/DVD/VCR, and a mini wet bar. There are two bedrooms and another full bath with a large tub. In addition, the garage has now an air hockey table for added entertainment.

Summary: We've stayed in this property before (with most of the same friends even) and we'll be back again. It's convenient to all of Manzanita, a short walk to the beach, and very comfortable and accommodating. There was enough space for six adults to easily spread out or come together as needed. This house is a great visit and has become on of our favorite coastal haunts.

Summary: We booked last minute for Christmas on the beach. This house had plenty of room for our 9 people. The pool table Was a hit. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles but was comfortable and had everything we needed for a memorable Christmas.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay. The house is in a good location. Plenty of space. Teens enjoyed the game loft and clean hot tub. The only issue I have are the non microwaveable dinnerwares, the cooking pots are too old and the knives are all dull. And the beddings are a dated. We still stay here again but I’ll probably bring my own knives and maybe my own sheets.
