Summary: Very new room, they are clearly renovating some parts of the hotel like rooms in the top floors and the restaurant. Hotel staff helped us to arrange in room massage service, ¥6000 for an hour. The therapists were very skillful. Male and female hot spring is not switching which is a bit uncommon in hot spring hotel. Food was ok, sea bream was served in most courses in dinner.

Summary: I truly enjoyed staying at Dogo Kan, the onsen was great and spacious, both with indoor and outdoor baths. The rooms were so spacious, and you get several small, but appreciated complimentary things such as a sweet snack, cold water and tabi socks. My only complaint would be that the beds (twin) were so small even I a female (1.6 m), almost fell out of it during sleep.
