Positive: Super house in a brilliant location, as close to the medieval city as you could be without actually being inside it. Hosts warm and welcoming; we had a fantastic weekend here.

Positive: The location of tis property is superb, its very near to the walled city just a short walk. The Gite is located on a working vineyard which did not impact in any way, in fact it was most interesting. One of the friendly workers directed us to a house (part of the vineyard) so we could purchase bottles of the wine it produced. We left very happy indeed. I would without any doubt recommend this Gite as a base to visit Carcassonne.
Negative: On arrival the handover of the property was not the best. Our host (a little English spoken) did explain the various workings of the Gite, but we later struggled with access to the WIFI (no phone signal in this area) so it was essential it worked. Sometime later we worked out how to do a reset which sorted this problem. Information on the property does state the host spoke English, this language barrier may have contributed to our issue. Suppose in the scale of things the problem was resolved and did not detract from a lovely stay in Carcassonne, in a superb property.
Summary: Superb Gite located on a vineyard next to the walls of Carcassonne.

Positive: The location was fantastic! The gite had plenty of room for the 4 of us. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we could need. There was also a washing machine and clothes line.
