Positive: We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Our room was delightful, featuring a beautiful private garden that made our experience even more special. The hotel is situated in a peaceful location, close to all the main attractions in Provence. We also thoroughly enjoyed the pool area—it was a perfect spot to relax and unwind.
Negative: Overall, we had a lovely stay at the hotel, but a few issues left us with a bittersweet impression, which we feel is important to include in our review. Firstly, the staff spoke very little English, which made communication somewhat challenging. Additionally, we found the pricing for breakfast and bicycle rental to be high. Since we had an early departure, we received a breakfast package consisting of peaches and two pastries per person—for a total of €52—which we felt was quite excessive. Our biggest concern, however, was with the payment process. We had already paid for our accommodation in advance via Booking.com using scheduled payment. Despite this, we were asked to pay again at check-out because the hotel claimed they couldn’t see the original payment in their system. They promised to investigate and contact us the following day, but we received no communication from them for over a week. Even our complaint submitted to Booking.com went unanswered. Eventually, after escalating the issue through Booking.com’s higher-level support, we received a promise—two weeks after our departure—that the duplicate payment would be refunded. And finally it was refunded. We understand that system errors and misunderstandings can happen. However, for a hotel of this category and price range, the way the issue was handled felt unfair and unacceptable, and unfortunately, it cast a shadow over our overall experience.

Positive: Wonderful welcome by warm hosts. Beautiful setting and spotless grounds. Super suit, good facilities and very comfortable bed with choice of pillows. Restaurant interesting, very good breakfast.
Negative: A couple of issues with housekeeping which were quickly rectified.

Positive: The room & bar overlooking the vineyards was great. Breakfast & breakfast staff were excellent.
Negative: Beware of the restaurant, especially if hungry.; The so-called gastronomic restaurant served poor food indeed. Very small portions, especially for the prawn dish (2 little prawns) & from the food we had, quite tasteless. Think the chef may be seeking a Michelin Star but it's nowhere near it. Needs help from Gordon Ramsay I feel. Everything we tasted lacks flavour and seasoning. The fish dish particularly lacked any flavour at all, with the accompanying rice was bland indeed. The pre-entre element was terrible - something like a cucumber palate cleanser but failed terribly. The best thing about the hotel was the bar overlooking the vines with great service. The taps is excellent there. Suggest avoiding the gastronomic main restaurant. Overpriced and poor food.
