Super bright, beautiful apartment with cathedral view!
It could not be more central: right next to the cathedral, the main railway station, the Philharmonie, the old town and the shopping mile, our exclusive apartment is located in the heart of the city. From here you can easily reach all corners of the city or surrounding area on foot or by public transport.
The apartment is large (about 120m ²), very bright through large windows in all rooms, consists of 3 bedrooms, each with a large double bed. To the back bedroom is a kind of "anteroom" connected, in which, shielded by a large cabinet front, an additional sofa bed is. Another, large and high-quality sofa bed is located in the spacious living area. The kitchen is fully equipped with all necessary kitchen utensils, dishes, cutlery, etc. for self-catering. The bathroom is quite large, has a bath and a walk-in shower. There is also a separate toilet.
The icing on the cake of this chic apartment is certainly the view through the large windows directly on the Cologne landmark: the cathedral.
In the other direction you have a view of the Rhine.

Summary: This apartment is in a great location. It is very big and spacious. Sylvia, the host was very responsive to all questions. And always quickly. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The only downside was no air conditioning and it was a very hot week when we stayed. Other than that, I loved it and would be happy to book again.

Summary: We stayed only two nights, but we all agreed we should have planned a longer stay. The apartment is in a great location. The Dom Cathedral is a block away, the Rhine is only 2 blocks away, the Ludwig museum is across the street. A large picturesque plaza, with many restaurants is around the corner. Finally, one of the main shopping streets, for pedestrians only, is a 5 minute walk!

Summary: This property was incredible. The location could not be beat. Literally overlooking the Dom, and around the corner from two of the major Christmas markets! We were a small group with 3 adults and 2 small kids, and there was plenty of space for everyone, with three individual bedrooms and an area where there were two extra foldout beds, had we had a larger group -- lots of space! Having only one full bathroom would have been tricky had we been a bigger group, but the additional 1/2 bathroom made it super simple. Check in was a breeze! The property owners were excellent with communication and everything was as advertised. The beds were decent with plenty of pillows and blankets, and the overall temperature was great - we could even open the windows to hear the cathedral bells ringing and take a peek at the Christmas markets, right outside the door! The TV programming was a plus, and the furniture was all very comfortable. The amenities were great - a wonderful kitchen with everything you could need and more. Being the only apartment on the top of an office building made it perfectly quiet, and yet when the kids wanted to run around, we knew we wouldn't be bothering anyone! There are stairs to walk-up, but also a small elevator, making the apartment nicely accessible. We loved our stay at this lovely apartment and would definitely hope to stay here again if we come back to Cologne!
