Positive: Beautiful hotel in a nice location, perfect for visiting Chester without staying right in the centre. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, everything was clean, and it was good value for money.
Negative: Very minor, but no biscuits the tea and coffee in the room. It’s such a small thing but it’s nice to sit down for a break when checking in after a long journey. The breakfast was good, but very busy and the coffee machines were flakey and needed staff intervention but it took a while to flag someone down to fix it.
Summary: Great hotel, lovely location and great value for the price!

Negative: On return to the hotel at 11.30pm, my daughter went to the bar and was refused a nightcap, as apparently the bar was closed. As a resident, do you not provide a later bar service? My daughter was in no way the worse for wear, we had only been out for a meal and thought that a drink and a coffee back at the hotel would be a nice end to our evening. She also asked if she could buy a bag of crisps and was also refused. This was all very disappointing. On return to our room, we couldn’t even make a cup of tea, because there were NO teabags.
Summary: Ok, but disappointing.

Negative: There's nothing to dislike Double tree Hilton, a big plus .Hotel in great position for local transport,so we do not have the hassle of city parking

Negative: Only thing I didn’t like how you had to pay extra £20 per person for the spa. And children couldn’t use the pool.
