Summary: Our room was run down. Good location, near subway. Lots of homeless though, be ready.

Summary: Room was in somewhat shabby condition: sheer curtains were in shreds, furniture was chipped. Food and dining options limited and overpriced, even by hotel standards. I've previously stayed in Double Tree hotels in London and NYC and found them good value. I don't know if the chain has gone downhill or it's just this one.

Summary: I was presented with a surprise charge at check-in. I booked a room for three people that included a king bed, and a sofa bed. When I arrive to check in, I was told that I did not book a room for a sofa bed, even though I had booked a room for three people. The person at Doubletree said that it was the fault of hotels.com. Please figure it out folks.

Summary: Dirty wine glasses were in the hall outside our room when we arrived Friday night. They were still there when we checked out Sunday. Garbage in general areas. Hotel staff were friendly. Room was comfortable, clean and updated.
