Positive: Nice, clean room. Great staff. Great pool. Nice bar that I didn't go to but patrons were having a great time. Neat building, but in a weird place.
Negative: Really nickel and dime us to death at this place. No one said a word when we checked in about 10 a night to park in a nearly empty parking lot. It was only printed, when I looked again, in the end of the hotel properties policies on booking.com. Real fine print. I would have made another choice. You couldn't include the costs in the room price. Didn't realize it until we went to park in the back parking lot. Now people have to pay for parking. I do and I don't understand that as you need people to drive to use your business. Now this isn't Philly or Disney or any super crowded place like that. This place was empty and if you didn't pay you'd have to walk like a mile to get to and from your room. This was a real kick in the butt. Staff told us it just started and so did a regular. They said the hotel doesn't own the parking lot or something to that affect. We stayed because of the pool but just a few miles away we have stayed every year at either the IHG or Sleep inn. Never once charged for parking or breakfast. Both are about 200 cheaper too. So we go to the breakfast area and were going to order and pay, but then we looked at the buffet and sure enough it is the exact same food I get at IHG and Sleep inn, which is included in my room. They wanted 18 bucks a person and didn't really have a menu to pick something cheaper. What a sham. If it wasn't for these two things I would stay next year or in March when we come as the pool was nice. Not 200 plus parking and breakfast nice.
