Positive: Beautiful views over Cable bay. Cable bay beach is lovely. Each room has its own bathroom, Everything needed in the kitchen. Loads of space in bedrooms and lounge.
Negative: Was a loud noise in one of the cupboards in one of the bedrooms. Alot of stair climbing between bedrooms with kids.

Positive: Brillant location, outstanding view of the sea. Close to the beach. Lots of great facilities.
Negative: The apartment was quite small. My fault, I thought there would be cooking facilities, and we bought food to cook. Only a jug and toaster. Should have booked the larger apartments above.
Summary: Fantastic location in a wonderful part of the world.

Positive: Beautifully appointed villa with fabulous views. Managers were away on a well earned break, however Mark phoned to ensure that all was going well and that we did not require anything, which was very good of him.

Positive: A perfect view from the little patio for morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening or nighttime stargazing! Clean, comfortable room, with all amenities. Very friendly, helpful hosts, Jane and Mark. 10 minute walk downhill to the beach. Close to Cable Bay and Cooper’s Beach and 10 minute drive to Mangonui for good restaurants and a fabulous Art Gallery.
Negative: You have to walk back uphill from the beach! Ha ha! For the lower studios, there are stairs so not easy for anyone with physical disabilities.

Positive: Great location and views. Comfortable bed and nice linen.
Negative: It wasn’t very clean. The lights above the bed had crusty, flaky bits from the corroding metal, the tops of the light switches, microwave, skiting boards and cupboards were dusty/sandy, not from normal dust as the manager tried to tell me, the shower base had some mould and there were lots of black scuffs on the walls and chipped corners of the wardrobe. There were people staying upstairs and every time they went through the top door it slammed shut - day and night. Not their fault. A simple adjustment and better closing mechanism would help. The tennis racquets were very old and only 2 were suitable to use as the others all had too many broken strings.
Summary: Great location but definitely a tired apartment that needs a spruce up and thorough clean. Definitely not what was expec
