Greater Doubtless Bay is the 20 kilometre wide jewel in the Far North’s crown, best savoured with a little elevation. Located on the high side of a quiet cul-de-sac road, Cablecrest has a wide commanding view out over the entire sparkling Bay and across to Karikari Peninsula.
Just a few minutes drive from popular, safe swimming beaches Cable Bay and Coopers Beach. Glass fronted Cablecrest was built to a premium standard, completed in 2018 and offers a contemporary and stylish central base to explore Doubtless Bay and the greater Northland region.
Cablecrest is ideally suited for a Winter getaway. There is an enclosed firebox with firewood supplied, a heat pump if you prefer and electric blankets on the beds.
With two Master Bedroom Suites, Cablecrest is the ideal layout for 2 traveling couples and a child. Each suite with views and attached modern ensuite bathrooms. The upstairs suite, a walk-in wardrobe and the downstairs suite a kitchenette. The downstairs suite offers a degree of separation from the main living area upstairs and a separate attached small bedroom with a single built-in bed.
Upstairs, a large open-plan living area with a full width covered deck. There is an additional powder room upstairs. Finished to a very high standard and appointed with premium chattels and fixtures. Engineered American oak flooring, aged brass tapware, the stunning kitchen is finished in black American oak veneer and Caesarstone bench tops. The kitchen was featured in the Kitchens and Bathrooms Quarterly magazine.
Dramatic high ceilings with exposed decorative trusses and a rolling barn door into the upstairs suite. A Masport Akaroa woodburner is rarely lit, the warm house is double-glazed and also has a heatpump.
The breezy, private, covered and paved 50 sqm outdoor patio at the rear of the property is ideal for BBQing and has a hot/cold outdoor shower for salty folk returning from the beach.
