Summary: We really enjoyed our stay here in this wonderful downtown getaway. The place was immaculate, and the owner really put a lot of love and care in all the decor - inside AND outside. Everywhere we looked, there were unique eye-catching details. She even had some Halloween decorations up. The yard was beautifully landscaped and well maintained. You can't beat the location. Just a short walk to Main Street and anywhere you wanted to go in the town of Blowing Rock. The truck seldom left the driveway the whole time we were there. We would definitely stay there again.

Summary: This home is in downtown Blowing Rock. Its name, "A Stone's Throw", is apt, since it is in walking distance of shops and restaurants in the town. The host was extremely friendly and welcoming. Her restaurant recommendations were excellent, and we discovered that Blowing Rock and Banner Elk are definitely foodie destinations. Our two therapy dogs accompanied us, and loved the host, the house, and the walkable town. Highly recommend this home for your next mountain getaway!

Summary: We were attending a family reunion and had 5 adults and 1 child. The place was warm and inviting with all the details from fire pit, to everything in the kitchen that you needed. It was spacious but cozy. We brought our dog and it was wonderful to have a fenced in yard and access to a big field in the back. WE LOVED IT!

Summary: This was a great house and perfect location for my family trip to Blowing Rock and opening weekend at Tweetsie which my boys love. We loved walking to downtown to eat and play in the park. House was quiet, clean and very comfortable. Would definitely recommend to others and use again in the future. Thanks!

Summary: We loved the uniqueness of this home. It had plenty of room for our family of five and our two dogs. The location was perfect. We loved that we could walk downtown and enjoy restaurants and shops. The fire pit was a hit, as the weather was perfect to sit outside and make s’mores and hang out.
