Summary: This Sweet Spot Cottage was just that; it was a sweet spot within walking distance to so many wonderful places, the cottage was well equipped and beautifully decorated. Off street gated parking appreciated as was access to Debbie. All and all a lovely experience; we hope to return! Karen and Nick Schmit

Summary: The house is perfect, we absolutely loved our time there and there really isn’t any detail about the house or outside areas that we would’ve changed. It’s the perfect size for two people, the kitchen is so well equipped (and bigger than it looks in the photos) and the hot tub and outdoor fireplace add a special touch. The location of the house is great, just a few minutes walk from Lower State St, the funk zone and the beach. There are fantastic restaurants, bars and shops just a short walk away in any direction you choose to head in from the front door. Debbie and Jim are the kindest and most helpful hosts we’ve ever had on our travels, no problem is too big or small for them to fix. For example, I noticed there was no kettle in the house to make tea, so we mentioned it to Debbie and within a day she brought us a brand new kettle - problem solved! We wanted to go to the beach but didn’t have an umbrella for shade, we asked Debbie and again within a few hours we had a beach umbrella. They really do go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. While we were staying there was some construction noise from a project happening opposite the house but that is the only even slightly negative thing we could say (and obviously that’s out of Debbie & Jim’s control). But I think if you’re out enjoying beautiful Santa Barbara and the surrounding areas on your trip, it wouldn’t be a big issue at all.

Summary: In the heart of Santa Barbara and just minutes from the beach, this property really was a hidden gem. Perfect for two people, the home was clean, spacious, and equipped with all of the essentials. The private deck, outdoor fireplace and jacuzzi were terrific pluses too, and the hosts were super accommodating and responsive.

Summary: The cottage was wonderful in every way. It was clean, very charming, well stocked & a lovely out door area which is well maintained & lovey to relax in. You are very close to the beach, Wharf & just a block to State St where there are lots of restaurants & every kind of store you would want. I would be very remiss if I did not mention how incredibly kind, thoughtful & helpful the owners are. Debbie took great care to make sure I was settled in & to make my stay perfect. Whenever I called Debbie got back to me immediately, I cannot rave enough about them, & would be sure to contact them first before renting anywhere else.
