Positive: We absolutely loved the tranquility of Dragonfly, it’s tucked away nicely and being able to sit out with a cup of tea in the morning watching the wildlife on the lake was just beautiful. Equally inside the cabin was cosy and comfy with great views.
Negative: There wasn’t really anything we didn’t like

Positive: The property was lovely and clean, and the location was amazing! So private ! We only met one owner on arrival and he was a lovely guy. The truck they gave to help move our things from the car , to the cabin , was a godsend ! We would have been back and too multiple times across the field and with the two dogs, and we arrived in 29 degree heat as well! so that wouldn’t have been the best start . The hot tub was great, although the Mr couldn’t get it to warm up…. On the last night I took charge and it worked! Wish I had done it from the off as it was amazing and we had definitely missed out. The surroundings to the property was nature at its best. A great place to relax and unwind.
Negative: There wasn’t much to not like, only simple things, like there was only one frying pan, so to make anything complexed just made the process a bit longer that’s all . We brought 10m dog leads (thank goodness ) as the property was open. My fault, as I usually book somewhere enclosed. Even though the dogs are good and would stay put, they wasn’t allowed to be off the lead because of being a working farm. Totally understandable . But they had to stay on all the time, even inside when we had the door open. I think if the veranda were to be enclosed, it would have been a bit better for the dogs. They were constantly getting tangled up lol but again, it’s part of the location and beauty of the place, not having fencing etc. I think it’s good to note to other dog owners so they know what to expect. If we hadn’t taken the long leashes ( which was always a ‘just incase’) we would have had to keep hold of them all the time and be in and out with them . The heatwave was way too hot to have the doors closed . You can’t have them off leash in the surrounding areas either , as that’s all the farm. There is a walk on an old train line where they can be free, it’s just a pity that there wasn’t an allocated space for them to have a run around. We seen a field next to the farm which could have been a lovely area for them to stretch their legs. We ended up going to the country park behind Draycote water with them. Dogs aren’t allowed around the reservoir , so if you come here it’s a good thing to know. But the country park is literally just behind the water. So only little things , nothing major. It wouldn’t stop us returning, we would just be a bit wiser next time.

Positive: Beautiful location, log fire and very comfortable, cosy stay. Our dog enjoyed too !
Negative: Small saucepans one larger one would have been perfect - however most people go on vacation not to cook too much so this was just personal preference.
