Summary: Walking distance to plenty of great spots. Easily walkable to the beaches that are less crowded than other neighborhoods. Hotel doesn’t have a bunch of amenities, but it has charm and the staff provide a solid all around experience

Summary: The room and pool were small and the “view” was of the street. The pool you could sit in but not really swim. It had a working elevator! And parking! Parking was minimal but we were able to park with no issue. The rooftop deck was really nice - but again the view was of the city not the water.

Summary: This small hotel is just a few blocks walk from the beach! It also has a small pool tucked away, and a lovely rooftop terrace. You can rent beach equipment from them too. There are local restaurants in this Ocean Park neighborhood, including Kasalta - our favorite! The staff were helpful. Comfortable bed, hot shower. The A/C was a little noisy, so we slept with the windows open, which worked great.
