Summary: There was ants and we found a roach in the kitchen on our last day. There was one washcloth for everyone as well as one dish towel. The garbage disposal also didn’t work. For the price, I would recommend finding another place to stay.

Summary: Property was pretty and clean. To access the house, there was a 5-6 minute drive through a subdivision. There was plenty of parking. Check in information wasn’t given until the morning of and we never received any check out information. Overall we had a great stay and enjoyed the pool the most.

Summary: This really is the creme de la creme of holiday cottages. Beautifully appointed with absolutely everything carefully thought out and provided. The problem was - it was so nice we were reluctant to go out as much as we planned but instead stayed in doing crosswords and reading poetry in front of the log burner. Prising our elderly dog away from the underfloor heating did some doing! The bed was super-comfortable and the duvet almost too warm. It was the little touches like the variety of books and games dotted around, the provisions on arrival, the friendliness of the host etc. that made it extra special. For the sake of balance - there was one tiny downside: We didn't discover the caffetiere jug until the day before we left and the place cried out for 'proper coffee'!
