Summary: Check in and communication with owner was easy. Couldn’t ask for a better location or a better outfitted property. House has everything you need inside and plenty of places to relax/cook/entertain outside. Two full size refrigerators so you can bring plenty of food and drinks. Nice covered boat slip to keep your boat out of the sun plus additional dockage for another 2-3 boats. Only negatives were jacuzzi didn’t work and outdoor bar area has unwanted pests so make sure to clean anything you want to use, wipe down surfaces and don’t leave trash outside. It’s island life though so not much you can do, just beware. We definitely will book again and stay for a full week!

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at the Dreamcatcher island house. The house is awesome with comfortable bedrooms, a living room that faces the sunrise, and a great outdoor space. We did a lot of cooking and the kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil, pots/pans we needed. The boat dock is in great condition and easy to navigate. The boat house safely blocks wakes from passing boats.

Summary: Dreamcatcher Island was huge. Water access only so it made our stay way more private. Even though we were away from the hustle and bustle, we were still close enough to jump on the boat and go to the nearby restaurants and enjoy food and live music. They all have boat access. The home is big enough for 2-3 families, if needed. Plenty of space. We spent our days out on the water and came home and spent the rest of the evening out on the deck, poolside. The pool was a great asset. We used it everyday! The house was stocked with everything you need, including shampoo and soap! Just bring your groceries. There is a Publix right on the corner of the road you access the house on. Very convenient. There is a water cooler for drinking and cooking water. Also, there is a countertop ice maker. The coffee maker can be used as a pot of coffee or k-cups, which they supplied. Just FYI, if you want flavored coffees, bring your own. They do not have WiFi. I understand they’re working on getting it. Hopefully soon. They have a couple kayaks but we didn’t use them. The covered boathouse was nice for our 18’ boat. All in all, I would recommend this home and look forward to staying here again!! We enjoyed this location, looks like old Florida, more than staying in Crystal River. Thanks for sharing your sweet bit of paradise with us.

Summary: Dreamcatcher Island.It was a little off the Grid for us, but absolutely beautiful. No WIFI available access to TV nor VCR, but I was told it would be hooked up in the future.We had two college students that joined us assuming they would be able to get on line for their class work and a teen ager with a broken leg, so he struggled with no WIFI for entertaining himself.I know this is newly owned and the kinks have to be worked out. Outside space with Kitchen is Prime.Also had a back up generator which came in handy when electric went out with a storm. Very nice!Lots of decks and dock space for 4 boats.

Summary: Highly recommend Dreamcatcher island house for scalloping, relaxing, and fun with family and friends. The owner was extremely helpful with everything and made our trip very enjoyable. Will definitely be back!!!

Summary: Josh is an excellent host and the property is wonderful, its much bigger than it looks in the pictures. The deck is shaded and beautiful, with plenty of seating everywhere. We spent all out time out there swimming, grilling and watching the boats go by. We had some really good scalloping spots nearby too- caught our limit in no time. The marinas to launch from are 8 minutes away by boat and there is a covered bay to dock your boat in on the island. Don't let the island deter you- yes you had to be mindful of water usage but its no big deal, the wonderful property without another person in sight will make you forget a short shower. Josh your host will guide you through everything and make it easy for you. We will be back soon, it was heavenly! And if you don't have a boat- just rent one at the nearby marinas, Josh can help with that too.
