Summary: We had a lovely stay! The house is well stocked with kitchen items, extra towels and sheets, pool accessories, beach toys, games, books and more. We enjoyed using the hot tub and pool (the pool was cool but our kids sure didn’t mind). Lovely pathway down to the water where you could bird watch and dig in the sand. Gorgeous sunrises from the house. Well located near Cavendish and Rustico and all that PEI has to offer. Alisha was very responsive and helpful!

Summary: We stayed with our group of 5 adults and 5 kids. The pool and hot tub were amazing for the kids and there are many fun things to do close to the property. This house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. There’s even a massive pot and propane burner for your backyard lobster boils! Can’t say enough. I’d recommend the place.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay. The property had so many amenities, the pool was wonderful and the kids loved the hot tub. The cleanliness was super impressive. Walking along the beach looking for shells as treasures was fun. We were close to everything but had peace and quiet at the same time. The main floor bedroom allowing the grandparents to have single floor living during our stay was much appreciated. We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our visit. For any birdwatchers it would be great. We saw a bald eagle, 5 herons and what looked like a mating pair of osprey.

Summary: An excellent location and the property was generally as described. Unfortunately, the main issue was the lower floor of the property which has an extensive problem of musty/moldy scents and dampness which was not indicated to us in advance of our trip. Alisha, the property manager, was excellent and deserves a five-star rating for her care of the amenities and prompt response to requests. Alisha was wonderful to us.

Summary: We had a wonderful family vacation at DriftAway. Alisha was very clear and thorough and gave us some tips on a local festival happening. The location is fantastic, just 5 mins away from SandSpit and Shining Waters, and only 10mins away from Cavendish beach. The house itself was HUGE. Plenty of space for our 8 adults and 4 kids. The view was magnificent. The beachfront to the front of the property isn't good for swimming- I'd suggest you drive the 10mins to Cavendish, but the kids loved digging in the mud etc. There are quite a few stairs to go down, so just an FYI if mobility is an issue. This place is truly truly beautiful and there was so much to do! I would highly recommend to anyone!

Summary: The house and property were beautiful and clean. Alisha was very responsive and diligent about taking care of the pool and hot tub. The basement having its own entrance and full kitchen was handy for our two families sharing the space The waterfront was beautiful. Access required a bit of a walk through some bush and poison ivy but we were told this would be looked after for future guests. Maybe not an issue for most adults, we just had five children in the group. The space was otherwise perfect for kids and very family friendly complete with the play structure and outdoor toys , booster seats and a pack n play. Thank you for a wonderful PEI vacation!
