This one room cottage has all the makings of a simple getaway:
hammock, BBQ, private sand spit and fire pit.
Quintessential summer, minutes from downtown of Amherstburg.
Well suited to young families, girls' weekends, couples getaways, and anyone just looking for a bit of quiet.
The small beach is perfect for building sandcastles with tikes, or digging your lawn chair in and watching the sunset; the large deck is a great place to pass the afternoon, BBQ-ing and watching the freighters go by, the hammock is the place to polish off your summer reading list.
There is a bike lane along Front Road, for cyclists wanting to pop into town; or head to the wine route.

Summary: My husband and I came for our anniversary, and had the best time! I was sad to leave and already want to book another stay. It was perfect for a couple - the beach and the water were probably our favourite part. Our hosts really thought of everything. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, for the barbecue, the campfire, lots of towels, a radio and a speaker, games; all we really needed to bring was clothing, our toothbrushes and some food!

Summary: Cozy cottage with lots of privacy. Nice sandy beach. It had everything we needed from coffee to kitchen items and the bed was super comfy. View was amazing. We will definitely stay here again.
