Villa Mima is beautiful, old stone house which has been renovated to a high standard combining old with the new so you can enjoy your holiday in a traditional stone house but still have all the commodities of a modern life. Some things are left unrenewed on purpose, like some wooden vintage furniture, because, they just don't make it like that any more.
Villa spreads over 3 floors which is characteristic for houses in our region.
Villa is located in the center of Cavtat, above, on the hill, giving you the breathtaking view of the Cavtat harbour.
House is surrounded by stone walls which gives you much needed privacy. Stone steps lead to the villa from the Cavtat's promenade.
Upon arriving you are welcomed by wooden doors which open on to a „korta“, traditional courtyard. There, you will find portable Webber BBQ, wooden table for 10 persons and absolute treat, a cave pool. Old water well used for collecting rainwater, carved in stone, repurposed as a piece of paradise just for you.
The first floor comprises high end kitchen with dining room, two double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms and separate toilet. Kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, ice maker, washing machine, pots, pans and cutlery.
Upstairs comprises three bedrooms, one double bedroom with en suite bathroom, two double bedrooms and shared bathroom with beautiful, freestanding bathtub.
All bedrooms are air conditioned and equipped with flat screen SAT tv.
French doors on the first floor lead to a second lounge area which is favourite among our guests. You will be awed by the panoramic view of the bay area and the sea. The terrace offers perfect sunsets, its almost surreal.
The third floor is the attic. It is a romantic living room with exposed wooden beams, kitchenette, bathroom, two sofas and a little sitting area by the small window with sea view perfect for your morning coffee.
Wi-fi is available and free of charge.
When staying in Villa Mima you don't need a car because everything you need is within walking distance.
There are fast food stands and pricey restaurants, jewelry shops, souvenir shops, banks, pharmacy, ATMs, little farmers market and ice cream shops.
There are variety of beaches just a short walk away. Concrete, pebble or rocky beach, under the pine trees? The choice is yours.
You will love everything about our place.
Location
Villa Residence Mima is located in Cavtat, cultural and administrative center of this region. Airport Dubrovnik is 5.9km away.
Dubrovnik, pearl of Adriatic is 18 km away and the border of Montenegro just 25km away.
Cavtat, antique Epidaurus, is located between Dubrovnik on one side and beautiful Konavle on the other. There can one still feel the spirit of the past and experience the centuries old traditions.
It is ideal holiday resort so you can spend your holiday going in for recreational sports and cultural programmes or leisurely lying on the beach.
When staying at Villa Residence Mima one doesn't need to have a car even though there is a public parking lot 200m from the villa ( charged app 14£ per day during high season ).
Cavtat has excellent public transport. Bus leaves to and from Dubrovnik every half an hour. If you want to avoid traffic I highly recommend boat trips to and from Dubrovnik. Boat leaves every half an hour and it is a beautiful 45min drive free of hustle.
There's taxi stop few hundred meters from the villa.
If you want to explore Konavle valley, on the other hand, I recommend you rent a car. There are many family owned vineries and rural households offering vine tastings and traditional foods.

Summary: We were a group of 5 female adults who stayed in this beautiful house for 4 nights. Communication with the hosts was excellent. We arrived in Cavtat at noon and were shown to the house where we could leave our luggage and head down the numerous steps to the harbour to have lunch until check in at 4. The host messaged at 3.30 to let us know the house was ready. The house is beautiful with plenty of space inside and out. It is clean, well furnished and the views are simply stunning. Our flight did not leave until 9pm on the day we left and as there were no guests booked in that day we were offered a late check out at no extra cost! This was a massive bonus as it was raining at times and we felt like we had an extra day's holiday! Cavtat is beautiful, yes there are a lot of steps to the house but there are various routes, some less steep than others. We hope to be back!

Summary: I enjoyed Cavtat and Villa Mima so much that I returned again in September with a new group of friends. And all of us were pleased with everything about the villa. Its location in old town Cavtat allows easy access (although there are many steps to get there) to restaurants and shopping. The view from the terrace is gorgeous and we watched several beautiful sunsets over the water from there. The house was clean and any requests or questions were quickly taken care of - including transportation and luggage handling. We couldn't have asked for more! Hoping to return again. If you are visiting the Dubrovnik area, this is the place to stay!

Summary: We had a great family holiday made up of 10 adults. The villa was spacious, clean and perfect for our needs. The sunset views over the harbour were breathtaking. The owner and host were great at keeping in touch to ensure our stay went as smoothly as possible.

Summary: A group of 8 adults rented the beautiful villa for 10 nights. The location was fabulous. We walked to restaurants, grocery store, boat trips to Dubrovnik- everything! You must be able to walk steps though since the town is on a hillside that meets the marina. The villa had plenty of room for all of us. We spent much of the time on the terrace overlooking the sea and the gorgeous sunsets. All bedrooms were spacious and the baths modern. It is a nice combination of history and updated elements. Cavtat is a wonderful town for a vacation to Croatia. It has easy access to Dubrovnik, Montenegro, the Konavle region. We loved staying there and felt we were in the best location in the town.

Summary: The house was great! Suzana met us at the bus/taxi station and took us to the house. The communication with her and Pavo was great both before and during the stay. We were 5 adults, 3 kids (19 & 20 years) and an 11 year old. We all enjoyed the house greatly! Good size rooms, and comfortable beds. The terrace was great both in the morning and evening’s. The view over the harbor is beautiful! It’s just a two minutes walk down the stairs to the city center and the harbor, where all the great restaurants and shops are. And yachts! Everything is in walking distance. You can go swimming from the pier and the rocks or walk to one of the many small beaches, where you can rent a sunbed. A beautiful city, it’s quiet and all the restaurants are really good. The people are very friendly and helpful. We went on a full day boat trip, which Pavo recommended, with Ivan. He was great! Are you going to this beautiful city - choose this house! We would love to come back!

Summary: Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this villa. It was closer to all the shops and restaurants than we realized. The Villa was spacious and cozy. It had plenty of room for the nine people that stayed here. The ad description didn’t do it justice. It was better than we thought. If you have a large party and you need a place to stay in Cavtat, I highly recommend this place.
