Summary: This hotel is very charming. It's in walking distance to several historical sites. The staff is very friendly and accomodating of needs. The breakfast is basic but good. Rooms are big and the area is quiet. The only negative is that there aren't a lot of places to eat nearby for a quick bite. Overall good and safe area to stay.

Summary: There is always someone there for you. Everyone was so very nice. The food, breakfast and dinner was very good. Service was attentive and all were willing to help. Clean and comfortable. I have another reservation there next week for another couple of days. Thank you to them all.

Summary: Overall stay was fine, location is pretty good close to the central area. The best thing was the friendly and helpful staff. The room had a safe which was great, but generally the room and bathroom was very dated, definitely in need of a refresh

Summary: The hotel is excellent and the staff really helpful. Most of them speak english with ease. I had to sort a few things out before the trip and they also responded to the messaging on the expedia app very quickly. We had a spacious room and the whole hotel had a feeling of airiness and light with wide, tall hallways. It's a converted 1929 mansion and has a great traditional feel, but also modern conveniences. Just be aware that the hotel is about a 900m walk from the centre of the city and it's in a safe area. There are, I think 2, restaurants close by and the one in the hotel is good too.

Summary: We have a very comfortable stay with the Dunn Inn on our two day stop over in San Jose. We loved the history and the area was easy walking to downtown. Front desk staff was wonderful!

Summary: Lovely staff and rooms, clean and comfortable. Front desk helped us book a taxi to the airport. Unfortunately a bit loud outside, but otherwise it's a reasonably priced stay in San Jose.

Summary: In front there is a noisy casino and it is noisy until 5.00 am! Cars, scandal… Very sad as the hotel was convenient.
