2 Bedroom Apartment in Meribel-Mottaret, Les Allues

Ideally located in the famous district of 'Chatelet', our apartment is in front of the gondola lift and near the frog (from other lifts) and kindergarten. You will ski at the foot of the building. The apartment consists of two bedrooms (no sleeping in the living room), a living room, a bathroom and two toilets, including an independent. The decoration, type Savoyard cottage, allowed us to obtain the 'Méribel label' which rewards the quality apartments. The apartment has a private parking space in the basement and unlimited access and free internet.
So that you can spend warm evenings, we leave you with a raclette and a fondue set.
For sun lovers, two deckchairs are available on the terrace.
Possibility of cleaning end of stay and rental of linen.
Access to the center of the resort is on foot (200 m without leveling).
Rentals are from Saturday to Saturday only, dogs are not allowed.

Summary: we stay in the appartement for one weeks. Everything was clean and cozy. The accommodation is small (only two sleeping rooms for six persons), but you have everything you need. You can see the ski slope from the balcony, very nice! The commutication with the host was perfect and quick. So a perfect appartement for your stay in Meribel-Mottaret.

Summary: The apartment is very appealing, clean and well equipped. We were four adults and so it was nice to have two separate sleeping rooms and no-one having to sleep in the living room. Location is perfect with easy access to the slopes as well as plenty of bars and restaurants, plus a supermarket all close by. The car parking space was just an added bonus! Will definitely use again if staying in Meribel.

Summary: This was our first time staying in this apartment & the space worked well for our young family. It was the children's first ski trip & we wanted to be close to the lifts - the apartment is opposite the Plattieres telecabin. Even though there are restaurants nearby, we heard no noise in the apartment. The apartment has the master bedroom (double bed) on the same floor as the main living area (kitchen/lounge & bathroom), The second bedroom is upstairs (with double bed & 2 single beds & toilet). The roof is pitched, so the restricted ceiling height in the children's room didn't matter. The children loved having their own space up stairs, allowing them space to play & read. This was important as the floor space with the sofa is not large. As a family with 3 children, the property was perfect for us.

Summary: We have stayed here two years in a row and are likely to return. The apartment is clean, tidy and will decorated. My two children love their own area upstairs with their own toilet. The kitchen area is small but with a little planning all meals can be prepared easily. The ski locker is situated on the ground floor and the lift gives direct access to the front door of the apartment. The parking is covered but it is still open to the cold so make sure your car is prepared. We have not experienced any problems but we always make sure the car is serviced before travelling down. The view from the living room window is perfect and the location is the best thing about this apartment. It is situated near the shops and bars but without any noise from below. The main area for Motterat is just outside with access to all lifts for Val Thorens, Meribel, La Tania and Courchevel. This is why we love this so much. The local bars and restaurants are friendly, speak English and are always willing to be patient when I try speaking French. Email is the best way to correspond with the owner and he speaks English if required. We will be returning here for another great holiday.

Summary: The apartment was clean, tidy and well looked after with everything we needed for our stay. The master bedroom is suited for two adults with an in built wardrobe for storage. The kitchen has a two ring hob, combined oven / microwave and a dishwasher which was adequate for simple meals. The mezzanine has a sloping ceiling which our children liked as it it felt like their den. The bathroom was clean and equipped with a good shower. The location is perfect for the three valleys. The Plattieres ski lift is right outside giving easy access to Val Thoren. Merbel itself is a green run down to the centre. Below the apartment are bars, ski hire and small convenience store and we were never disturbed by any noise. This is a comfortable apartment with booking arrangements made simple via the English speaking owner. Definitely recommend this apartment as we are likely to go back next year.

Summary: We stayed in this lovely apartment for a week. The location could not be better - it is really close to lifts, but also you can quickly reach any trails of the skiing valley for a journey. The apartment has everything you could imagine for a pleasant stay and there are grocery and souvenir shops, bars and restaurants nearby. It was especially convenient to communicate with the owner of the apartment, who is helpful and quick responding to any of your needs. Would definitely recommend the apartment for a lovely stay.

Summary: A nice clean cosy apartment and decorated to a good standard. The front door to the apartment is directly opposite the lift to the ski lockers so literaly step out your front door into the lift and at the bottom pick up your ski's, step out the door from the ski locker and clip them on, very convenient especially for children. Also the building in which the apartment is situated has a good ski hire shop at the base of it as well as restarants/pizza takeaway and there is a small supermarket not 2 minutes walk.It is 200m at the most from the centre of Mottaret and 50m to the nearest ski lift. Laurent the owner is extremely helpful and speakes good english so booking was very smooth and easy.Highly recomended for comfort and one of the easiest access to the slopes I have experienced.

Summary: A very well decorated and cosy appartment with plenty of character, and immediate access to slopes, shops, restaurants etc. Warm and clean, and a great shower with plenty of hot water. The owner made the arrangements for booking very easy, so no problem for English customers. We were able to get to the top of Combe de La Saulire on one lift in less than 15 minutes from the appartment - it's quicker than staying in Courcheval 1850! Or you can reach Val Thorens very easily too - you are at the very centre of the 3 Valleys. The ski lockers are easy to get to, they are on the ground floor right by the snow. You can cook small meals in the kitchen - or the restaurants downstairs are excellent, also a takeaway pizza shop. We would thoroughly recommend this appartment - it is one of the nicest we have stayed in, at a good price. If you want to ski, this must be one of the best locations in the Alps.
