Positive: The food is amazing. I don't understand why the Eagle has not gained a Michelin Star. The price of the accommodation is exceptional for the location and the staff were very efficient and friendly. The location is very photogenic with thatched homes and an Old English village feel. Highly recommended.

Positive: Cosy, comfortable, clean, good food, and helpful and friendly staff, historical building with features and fireplaces. Country restaraunt with fresh country produce. They accomodated requests. I had the best nights sleep! Good price!
Negative: Closed until 5pm each day. Would be nice to be open for drinks & board games by the fireplace etc earlier.

Positive: Really wasn’t sure what to expect after travelling down from London on the train late on a Friday afternoon. As soon as I walked in, any reservations melted away thanks to the warm welcome and the open fires.
Negative: Shower over the bath in the bedroom would have served its purpose but I decided to give it a miss.
