Summary: We had no idea what to expect with this property in Owls head Maine but we were so pleased with our stay. The property is lovely- clean and updated. Walking distance to a private beach and 10 minute drive to downtown. Quiet and lovely for a family. Highly recommend.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at the property. This is a new building. Nicely decorated, comfortable, clean, quiet and a short walk to the ocean. Our only problem was figuring out how to turn in the heat. We sent a message to the property manager and they explained how to turn on the wall units.

Summary: Wonderful spot. Nice new duplex nicely decorated. Had a great time. Quiet neighborhood with beach access at the end of the street. The only suggestions i would make is more detail on getting local tv channels and getting the heat on. But I would definately reccomend staying here.

Summary: Very clean, quiet and spacious. 2 minute stroll to nice beach. Not too much by way of restaurants or grocery stores, so if you don’t plan to drive around too much, stock up on groceries for your meals. Super quiet little neighborhood.

Summary: Eastwind provides a peaceful comfortable location for rest after hiking, ferry rides, exploring galleries, and eating amazing food in Mid-coast Maine. The proximity to Crescent Beach makes enjoying the ocean easy. We've stayed at Eastwinds twice now and look forward to booking in the future. Eastwinds is part of a duplex with Westwind. There were two different renters on the other side that overlapped with our reservation. The hosts do a good job of selecting guests appropriate for the architecture -- we never heard the other people, only barely saw their cars on the other side of the fence in the driveway. When we needed something, the hosts were responsive and obliging.

Summary: Eastwind was everything my Fiancé needed - quiet, relaxing, and soooo comfortable. The space is so spacious and clean! Absolutely loved all of the natural light and especially loved being right down the street from the beach. I will definitely be booking again in the future!

Summary: Easy to get to with gps. Getting up the steps is hard~so slanted that it was hard to go up and down. Has Queen bed, set of stairs, bathroom shower only and a washer and dryer. Had trouble with washer. Notified management co and no response. Had to fix it myself by pulling out filter that was clogged with nuts and bolts, beads and mud and washed it out. open living room and kitchen. There is a sliding door to go out to a deck.The deck had a set of chairs that were dirty and I flipped one over and it had a burn mark in it. stairs down from the deck, there is a covered bbq grill that was not working. Propane? Patio table that looked like it could break so didn’t use. kitchen is full of amenities except short on drinking glasses. They only had one, but did have some juice glasses and wine glasses. Lots of plates and silverware, pots and pans. Even lobster crackers if you choose to have a lobster boil. The living room is quite comfortable with two chairs that seem like patio furniture. Airconditioner. Stairs steep, they are quite sturdy and I could fit my entire foot on the tread, which was nice. Upstairs had office with a pull out bed. The master bedroom was large and had a sofa in the room. It also had a sliding door that lead out to a deck. The deck was nice, cushions were a little dirty. The room had an air conditioner that hung on the wall and it was convenient but loud. The unit is a 5 minute walk to the beach, where it is filled with rocks and boulders.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at the EastWind. The house is well located, spacious, beautifully remodeled, and has everything you need whether you stay for a few days or a longer time. Upstairs master bedroom suite has great space and views, downstairs bedroom is smaller and more comfortable for one person. Both have pillow top mattresses. Kitchen/dining/living space is super comfortable - we took advantage of having a fully stocked kitchen to cook some of our meals. Also enjoyed being close to Rockland and many other popular places within a short drive as well as many great restaurants. The walks around Owls Head are relaxing and the beach is within a few minutes, less busy than other towns in the area. Overall, highly recommend if you are considering this rental for your stay.
