3 Bedroom Cottage in Beulah

This charming cottage features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen/dining area and a cozy living room. The primary bedroom has a queen size bed, the guest room has a twin over full bunk bed. The basement level bedroom, laundry room and bathroom have their own separate, outside access with a full size futon and a queen bed. The primary bedroom and basement level guest room each have their own TV.
The newly furnished living area features an open kitchen/dining room and a cozy family room with comfy seating and a large Smart TV.
The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, blender, 12 cup drip coffee maker, cookware and dishes for 8.
A washer and dryer are available on the lower level and there is a clothesline outside. All linens and towels are supplied.
Enjoy the private backyard with a brand new gas Weber for grilling and a fire pit for S'mores. The garage has two kayaks for a paddle on Crystal Lake and four bikes for a ride on the Betsie Valley Trail which connects right to the backyard.
A short walk takes you downtown to enjoy restaurants, shops, markets, antiquing and galleries. The Village Park and Beach offer picnic facilities, tennis courts, beach house, swim raft, fishing dock, playground and several hundred feet of soft, sandy, Crystal Lake beach. The Betsie Valley Trail runs through the park on it’s way to either Crystal Mountain or Frankfort Beach. The Village Park also hosts evening concerts, art festivals and fireworks throughout the season.
If you'd like to rent a boat or jet ski, Crystal Lake Marina is less than a mile away.
It’s about a 15 - 20 minute drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Frankfort, Crystal Mountain and Interlochen; about 30 minutes to Glen Arbor, Traverse City and the Leelanau Peninsula. The Platte and Betsie Rivers are right next door for great kayaking, canoeing, tubing and fishing. We are surrounded by beautiful golf courses and wineries and northern Michigan’s only drive in theater is just 3 miles up the hill!

Summary: Our kids loved riding the bikes and using the kayaks. So close to the cute town. We walked to the sunsets every evening and then had a bonfire in the firepit. The house had everything you would need for a great week.

Summary: This was a nice cottage. Bathroom upstairs is small and doesn't allow for much privacy. Need to be comfortable with exiting the main cottage to use the better bathroom downstairs.

Summary: The location and the house were perfect for us. We enjoyed the use of the bikes and the ability to walk into town. The water was just a few steps away. The house was fully equipped with all of our needs. We didn't miss anything. Great place to stay.

Summary: Hands down one of the best rental cottages we've ever stayed in. Rob and Mary could give a master class on designing for small spaces! Every little detail was thought out -- tons of hooks for hanging clothes and towels, shelves tucked here and there to take full advantage of nooks and crannies, extra blankets for cool nights, comfy beds and furniture -- and the list could go on. Traveling with two young children can be a challenge, but staying at such a warm and inviting cottage made all of us feel right at home. We will be back next summer!

Summary: The cottage has a great location. Close to the beach, bars, restaurants and shopping. All within walking distance and close to other types of activities as well. The cottage itself is very cute and cozy and was very comfortable for our group of five adults. Communication with the owner was outstanding and check-in and check-out was a breeze. We all loved our stay and look forward to coming back.

Summary: We hit the jackpot with this property! Crystal Lake is steps from the door. The kayaks in the garage were a huge hit. The area restaurants were excellent. The cottage is a short hop from Frankfort, MI and Sleeping Bear Dunes. And the cottage sits only minutes from the bike trail to Frankfort. We were sad to leave. We will be back.

Summary: We had family visiting from out of state that had never been to Michigan, so we wanted to give them the pure michigan treatment and rent a quintessential Michigan cottage and see amazing water, eat great food and drink Michigan wine. This cottage was PERFECT for what we 2 couples wanted. The owners are very gracious with their offerings here. It had everything we could have wanted. Sadly it was too warm to have a backyard fire, and we weren't there enough to do any cooking on the grill, but it was all there if we wanted to. A very short walk to a little beach access for Crystal Lake, a nice walk downtown for dinner.. This cottage is right at the Gateway to everything Traverse City...Sleeping Bear, Glen Arbor, Wineries. Have a hot turkey sandwich at The Cherry Hut just up the road and you'll appreciate the short walk back to the cottage. It's near a semi-busy road, but this cottage is so quiet inside, you'll never hear it. We didn't use the 3rd bedroom in the lower level, but....if you have a teenager who wants their own room and privacy...that would be the perfect place for them. (It's very cool in that level!) The beds were extremely comfortable as were the furnishings, both very welcomed after running the roads all day.....Communication with Ron the owner was flawless... We hope to come back for a long Fall weekend... We really enjoyed the cottage!!

Summary: My family of 2 adults/2 kids (now teens) stayed here in 2019 and loved everything about it: the location, layout, cleanliness and convenience. We were delighted to have the same wonderful stay this time. We walked to the beach, the dock, downtown, the new brewery down the street and had a blast. The owners know how to mix Up North charm with modern convenience inside this gem of a cottage. No complaints here! We had a fun, restful and relaxing trip. Hope to stay again next year!

Summary: The cottage is clean and comfy with a great location one short block from the lake. We enjoyed using the kayaks on beautiful Crystal Lake as well as biking on the trail. Close enough to walk to downtown Beulah and a 15-20 minute drive to Frankfort. Sleeping Bear Dunes was also a short drive (about 25 minutes) and a great day trip. We found the shower a bit small. The road traffic can be heard from inside and outside the cottage. Overall, we had a great stay and loved the area.
