Positive: Wonderful spot, beautiful views and very well run. Rooms are comfortable and as the name suggests there are plenty of hammocks around. Also a kitchen.
Negative: Access through town can be a little tricky, streets are steep.

Positive: What I like the most was the view, this farm is located in a perfect spot to a see beautiful landscape and it looks cozy from the outside.
Negative: When you reserve it says : breakfast included. This is not true and that was a little bit dissapointing keeping in mind the farm was far from any store and the nearby cafés or stores, were opened at 1pm, so having breakfast for just one morning can be challenging. Another aspect is the facility is really antique. At night, it rained for a while and a drizzle was coming inside from the roof in the living room. Thanks god it stops raining and in our bedroom there was a drop ceiling that was covering the main roof so it avoids issues with the rain. In general, there is an out-of-date description of the place: 1) Breakfast is not included 2) The facility seems a little bit torn and unattended. 3) They said we were supposed to be offered a fresh glass of milk from the cows there, but that's not true as well. If you go there, keep in mind that maybe you need groceries in advance because the accomodation doesn't offer any of those.

Negative: Wasn't a problem for me, as I have been travelling with a car, but if you would like to see the city, transportation might be difficult.

Positive: On the mountain with beautiful landscape and cheap. Delicious breakfast. Nice owner. Really nice!
Negative: Only the faculties of the bedroom is simple with an used bed. Seems not fancy.

Positive: Extremely hospitable and helpful hosts who connected us to a great guide (Alejandro) who took us to Los Nevados national park. The flower garden with views of the Andean foothills is very pleasant and the hammock patio that surrounds the house is a great place to relax. If you want a place to stay that feels like you're welcomed into a nice rural home then this is a great option. There is also a pair of modest outdoor bar/restaurants a short walk away for watching the sunset or looking at the lights of Manizales.
Negative: The location of the home is a decent drive from Manzinales and is even a bit outside of Villamaría; our original cab driver couldn't find it and was frustrated and confused. So minor deduction for the difficulty of reaching the property. However our host was very helpful in getting us a ride down the hill to Villamaría and I bet he'd help arrange a ride up if you ask in advance.
