Relax and enjoy this lakefront, 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath real log cabin home located on pristine Beaver Lake, just 20 minutes from historic Eureka Springs. Edgewater Lodge sits just a stone’s throw from Beaver Lake’s crystal clear waters in a calm, no-wake cove. Bring your boat and/or jet ski, or rent one from nearby Starkey Marina. Paved roads provide easy access to the cabin, which sits waterfront, 200 feet down the hill from the road. Our all-concrete drive (while steep, but very navigable) offers ample door-side parking for multiple vehicles, and boat trailer parking is designated on the property (call or inquire for additional details).
This spacious log home boasts 3 levels providing room for your group to stretch out during your stay. Each level offers a large common seating area, complete with TVs, YouTube TV and DVD players for your enjoyment. Starlink high-speed WiFi/wireless internet is provided as well with unlimited usage. Enjoy the enormous deck or screened in porch -- drink coffee and watch the sun rise. Make s’mores with the kids in the evening and relax around the firepit on the large stone patio below the cabin. There is a fully stocked kitchen with all appliances to make wonderful meals for your friends and family.
The main level consists of the master bedroom with en suite bathroom and separate vanities, a half bathroom, washer and dryer with supplied laundry detergent, dining and living rooms, outside deck and fully stocked kitchen.
The kitchen offers all appliances (including 2 full-size fridge/freezers) and a variety of dishware, bakeware, and cooking utensils making it convenient to prepare meals for your large group. An eat-in bar and dining table, along with a small kids table, allow for the entire group to dine together.
The open living room features a stunning stone chimney with wood-burning stove and ample seating area. The outside deck is spacious and includes patio furniture, a shade umbrella, and a large gas grill for your use — we provide the propane.
The upper level has a large loft common area with queen sofa sleeper (sheets for this located in right bedroom closet) and loveseat, along with 2 bedrooms with queen size beds in each, and a full bathroom with tub and separate vanities.
The lower level includes the final common area with a large sectional sofa, screened-in porch with patio furniture, a full bathroom, and 4th bedroom with 2 twin over full bunk beds that sleeps 6.

Summary: This amazing property is the perfect location to get to Eureka Springs or any local sites, but beware, once you are here you won't want to leave! Comfortable living spaces for 8 adults inside and out. The dock and cove were pristine spots for fishing, swimming, and kayaking. The layout indoors offered a bedroom on the main floor so grandma did not need to do stairs, but the rest of us had no issues, outdoors there are railings and landings making all access easy to explore the property.Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Summary: The house was extremely comfortable. The house temperature kept us cool in spite of the high temperatures. The kitchen was well equipped and fixing our meals was like fixing meals at home. We enjoyed the dock and it worked well coming in and going out on the pontoon. We enjoyed being so close to the marina. The four teenage cousins enjoyed the bunk beds on the lower level. Nice and private! We did use the pull out sofa a couple nights but we couldn’t find sheets so did have to make do with that. All in all, our stay was superior and we all would like to return in the future. Thank you!

Summary: Need to know that there is no cell coverage in the house that is why a landline is provided. Also, Wifi is limited to 1GB/day with any add'l charged at $10/GB & streaming is not allowed. This info was given in the keys to the trip email 2 days prior to arrival even though the property description amenities essentials first 4 listings are Wireless internet/Wifi/Internet/Satellite Wifi Available. Last, the boat slips are not available for your use, one had the owner's boat & the other was raised & locked, even though the What's Provided states a large private boat dock w/swim platform (1 slip is available for your use).Messaged the host & communication was timely however the slip was still unavailable regardless of the reasons. Boats will be tied to dock uncovered. These things would have been fine if you knew in advance of booking & were able to plan accordingly. All that being said the roads to the house are lovely, we just put the boat in at the marina before driving down. The driveway is steep but navigable. The house is beautiful. It is set up well with room for everyone. The beds & bathrooms were nice. All the basics were there. It is secluded & sits near to the water. The decks are fantastic & the fire pit was fun. There are steps down but they were fine for everyone. The lake is absolutely beautiful & not busy at all. The drive to town was winding but not far so the location was convenient. Would recommend this property for anyone wanting to get away from it all.

Summary: I was very happy when I arrived at the home. It was just as advertised, and better. Open floor plan and plenty of places to sleep. The two decks and firepit were great places to chill. It was too cold to get into the lake, but it was gorgeous. If you have a problem with stairs, then the walk to the lake/firepit may be a little difficult. Overall great home and location, highly recommend!

Summary: My wife and daughter stayed for a few days while we got away over spring break. The space was very nice and there was room for so many more folks if we had brought more family. The boat dock and fire pit were great places to relax and take in the outdoors. I imagine this place would be remarkable for folks looking to get on the lake with a large family. The hosts were very responsive when I had questions and were really committed to us having a great experience.

Summary: We've been VRBO users for many years now, and have been fortunate to stay in some great places. This may well be the top of the list for us. This is a gorgeous home in a beautiful, peaceful setting, and there wasn't a single amenity lacking. We cooked a scaled-down Thanksgiving dinner and the kitchen had absolutely everything anyone could need. While it was too cool to enjoy the dock, I can imagine how wonderful it would be to have a summer get together here as well. Some reviews mention the driveway; don't be concerned - our daughter's honda civic managed it easily so I think anything can. I would recommend arriving before it gets dark for the first time you go there, and after that it's fine. Anyway, highly recommend this property.
