Positive: Alex was a kind, knowledgeable, and exceptionally welcoming host. My husband and I were visiting with our daughter, who is relocating to the area from the USA, and Alex went above and beyond, offering excellent advice on finding a home and even recommending where she could purchase a car. We stayed for three nights, and from the moment we arrived, every member of staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable. We also dined in the restaurant one evening and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The rooms were comfortable, and provided everything we needed for a very pleasant stay.
Summary: In short, a genuinely welcoming hotel with outstanding hospitality, comfortable rooms, and staff who go the extra mile t

Positive: I liked the fact that it was in a location that was easy to find but make sure the postcode is right as booking.com provided the wrong address. I liked the fact that the pub was shut at 11pm as it was quiet from there on. The occasional noise after 11pm was other hotel guests coming in and settling in for the night. There are 6 rooms with all ensuites. The room was lovely and had everything you needed it was quite spacious. I like how the coffee and tea station was set up in the room but because it had no fridge there was a fridge located outside on the landing that had milk in it. There was water provided and you could always ask for another bottle at the bar.The staff were really friendly and we had a lovely dinner there on the first night.
Negative: The issue we had was the bathroom light took a while to come on and it flickered then stayed on properly. The room was hot but that's because it was warm so we had the fan on. The TV didn't work but the manager explained that there had been an issue with the electrics throughout the week and they thought It had been sorted.
