Summary: Just WOW. we had an incredible time glamping in the tent alongside the river. The tent was extremely clean and had plenty of space. I loved listening to the running river as we slept. Eidfjord area was so amazing and beautiful, we did many hikes in the region. Wish we could have stayed longer. Make sure to walk the path over to the beach area for great views. Also, the breakfast you can add on to the package was great and probably the best breakfast we had in Norway!

Summary: We stayed at the Riverside apartment for four nights. The apartment was nice, clean and had a well-equipped kitchen. The location was great, next to the river and fjord. We were warmly welcomed and Ingrid and Thomas were easy to reach and told us everything we wanted to know about Eidfjord, the area, and a bit of history. We would definitely recommend this apartment.

Summary: First night in a tent, for a couple of decades. Got a very warm welcome, from the host. Highly comfortable tent, with very warm bed linens. You are not going to be cold in the bed, but maybe a bit cold out of it. The bathroom area was the cleanest I’ve ever experienced on my travels, and that counts for a lot in my opinion. I wholeheartedly recommend glamping in Eidfjord. Get settled in your tent and make a fire outside, for a barbecue, next to the river.

Summary: An amazing location right on a river that flows directly into the fjord. Two things to know: check in ends at 7, so read the confirmation, and the tent bathrooms do not include showers (so you really are glamping!). But the host was very accommodating, and let us use the shower in an empty unit.

Summary: Glamping was an exciting experience. It’s as cold as outside and when the sun is shining, it can get a little warm inside the tent.

Summary: The host was fantastic, and we had an amazing stay by the riverside in a glamping tent. Nice area outside for relaxing and barbecue. Higly recomendable if you want a special exeperience.
