Positive: Absolutely recommended. We stayed at Eleeza Homestay with Auntie and Uncle — Nelson and Aliza — and they were incredibly kind and helpful from the first moment. They helped us with everything: arranging a private car, a boat trip, restaurant tips, and even booking seats for Kathakali, the traditional Indian dance performance. Uncle went there in advance to reserve places for us, which was far beyond what we expected. The homestay itself is beautiful, clean, and very welcoming. We were welcomed with a free dinner and only paid for breakfast. They also helped us with laundry, which we really appreciated. After a more difficult experience in North India, staying here felt warm, calm, and almost like being with family. Auntie and Uncle were truly our right hands during the stay. Fully recommended.

Positive: I stayed for a week and it was delightful - Nelson and his family really take care of guests and make you feel at home. It’s a large family home with guest rooms upstairs; it’s one of the cleanest guest houses I’ve stayed in anywhere, let alone India, and it’s in a peaceful location close to Fort Kochi centre. The huge local breakfasts serve every morning were a real highlight. Internet was strong and fast. Access to the clothes washing machine and the roof area to dry clothes on was really handy. The family opened the guesthouse a few months ago and I am sure they will have great success - I look forward to returning!

Positive: I absolutely loved my stay with Nelson uncle and Shireen aunty. Safe, comfortable property with exceptionally warm hosts in a great location. They go out of their way to make guests comfortable, whether that is through the daily, generous breakfasts, clear communication, or personal touches. I would particularly recommend this property for solo women travelers as the hosts make you feel extremely safe and at home. I look forward to visiting again soon!

Positive: The best part are Sherry and Nelson who are extremely warm and welcoming, going out of their way to make us comfortable. The breakfast included was fantastic - a full spread with Indian items like puri and appam, and also fruits, sandwiches and eggs. Everything was very tasty! The rooms are comfortable and clean. The room is decently sized with comfortable mattress and good functional AC. The guest rooms are located upstairs, giving enough privacy and space, with a small upstairs common room with a sofa and tv. We stayed only for a night but would happily have stayed longer if we could.

Negative: Not a dislike as such, but just to keep in mind that the location is about a kilometre away from the main part of fort kochi. On a cool night, we were able to walk, but most times, you will need to take autos. Uber is easily available.

Positive: Everything was so perfect. But by far the best thing about Eleeza homestay are the wonderful hosts Nelson and Sherine. They started this homestay last year because they loved the idea of inviting guests into their home. From the moment we arrived till the moment we left we felt at home, cared for and part of the family. They went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time and we really felt like they did it because they love to do it. They gave us some great suggestions about what to do and see in the city, they took us out for dinner, they helped us buy some nice kitchen equipement, let us use their washing machine and cooked the most delicious breakfasts for us! Furthermore, the home is really nice, spacious, clean and very comfortable. The location is perfect since it is walking distance to both fort kochi and Mattencherry. Thank you again Nelson and Sherine for the wonderful time we had with you, you have a special place in my heart<3

The homestay is situated in a narrow lane, 50 meters away from the main road which keeps away the noise
