Located in Bresse, in the land of good food, between Chalon sur Saône, Tournus and Louhans, the plane tree estate is an elegant 19th century mansion of 200 m2 typical of the region, surrounded by 8,000 m2 of lawn, orchard and of a small pine wood. 8 hectares of agricultural land surround the estate as well as a typical half-timbered Bressane farm. It is a pleasant house to spend holidays with family or friends, quiet, in nature. You can enjoy the sun all day long on the three terraces facing east, south and west respectively. The century-old plane trees will offer you shade and freshness. You can relax on the large terrace bordering the swimming pool, the cover of which ensures water at more than 25 ° from May to September.
This beautiful, recently renovated home has 5 bedrooms, modern furnishings and modern amenities that will allow you to spend delicious moments in a relaxed and refined atmosphere.
During your stay, you can discover the rich cultural and gastronomic heritage of the region, stroll along the Saône or practice your favorite sport.

Summary: We have spent an amazing week at this property. There were 9 of us in total, 4 adults, 4 teenagers and a 5 year old! Communication with the host throughout the booking process was great and we were told everything we needed to know before arrival. We have postponed our stay for a year as Covid made last year too unpredictable to risk travelling, but the host was extreemly accomodating and understanding. Our welcome on arrival from Joelle was fantastic and she showed us around and answered any questions we had with a welcome friendliness as well as reccommending places to visit if we needed them. We agree the market on Monday in Louon is fabulous and well worth a visit if you have chance! There is a downstairs (kingsize) bedroom as well as toilet and shower room, which was perfect for us as one of our party is disabled. There are also a further 4 bedrooms upstairs (2 king size, a room with 2 singles and a room with 2 singles and a bunk bed) as well as an upstairs toilet and separate shower room. The property itself was extremely well equipped in terms of utensils, cooking equipment and even some store cupboard ingredients in the kitchen, soap, toilet rolls, dishwasher tablets and cleaning materials were also available which meant we really didn't need to worry about anything other then the food and drink that we wanted. There was also plenty of games to keep the children entertained if needed and a large TV (we didn't even turn this on once so I can't comment on how well this worked as we just didn't need it!) The pool was excellent and kept everybody VERY happy. It is heated by the sun and the canopys can be lifted and lowered accordingly. Some inflatables are provided and we bought a few others which we have left for others to use. We spent most of our time in and around the pool! There were also plenty of places to sit in both the sunshine and the shade. The 3 outdoor terraces meant there was always somewhere shady to sit for mealtimes and there were enough chairs at each place that no moving of furniture was needed to accommodate everyone in any area...including an outdoor sofa area too. The village itself is lovely to walk around but to access any shops or amenities you will need to drive. Be aware that this is a quiet location for a relaxing getaway where chilling by the pool during the day and late meals that stretch long into the evening over a bottle of the locally sourced red wine on the terrace, watching as the sun sets is the plan

Summary: We enjoyed our stay in October 18 very much. There was plenty of space for all of us: elderly people with easy access to sanitary rooms and terraces, kids with all sorts of playing-possibilities and a pool for everybody (with still agreable temperatures). We can only recomend this location. Thank you very much.

Summary: We were 10 people -ages 6-70, 3 generations. The house and site were a perfect accommodation for us. The house is comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The 3 large outdoor terraces provided pleasant places to eat or convene. There is ample seating everywhere. The children enjoyed the pool and trampoline and the large yard. The owner's parents who live close by, were very helpful and were quick to respond to our needs. They both speak English. This was a beautiful and comfortable place to start our journey in France- so much so that the children would have opted to stay there the entire time.

Summary: + very friendly reception + kitchen was very well equipped + no less than three terraces, one of which is covered - we always ate outside + water temperature in pool was between 27 and 29°C (in July) + very roomy and clean house + wifi reception was great + nice trees offer comfortable shadow in hot weather + property with character in the middle of a rural and relatively quiet neighbourhood - a nearby mill can cause some noise during summer even late at night but we did not really experience it as intrusive
