Summary: We werden vlot ontvangen, zelfs al waren we wat te vroeg aangekomen. Heel aangenaam was ook dat we op de vertrekdag tot na de middag mochten blijven aangezien er niet onmiddellijk nieuwe gasten kwamen. De tuin is kleiner dan op de foto's. Het huis binnenin is ruim, maar wel donker. In de keuken is zeker alles aanwezig, enkel bestek mocht wat meer zijn. Het huis telt drie verdiepingen. Eén slaapkamer heeft weinig privacy, want geeft uit op de gang. De trap naar de speelkamer op zolder is een molenaarstrap, wat gevaarlijk kan zijn voor kleinere kinderen. We waren aangenaam verrast dat de bedden bij aankomst waren opgemaakt. De matras van het bed op de 'schelpenkamer' is aan vervanging toe. Het huis heeft zeker zijn charme, maar heeft - zoals hierboven vermeld - ook enkele aandachtspuntjes. Het ligt in een heel erg mooi typisch dorp van waaruit verschillende wandelingen vertrekken. Een warme bakker is er niet in de buurt, wel een supermarkt.

Summary: Wir haben das Haus für 4 Tage mit 9 Personen gemietet. Das Haus hat durch sein Alter einen ganz individuellen Charme und Potential. Leider lässt die Einrichtung des Hauses zu wünschen übrig. Die Utensilien in Küche und Wohnraum sind zum Teil nicht benutzbar (Töpfe und Pfannen) und verdreckt, es fehlt an brauchbarem Besteck für alle Gäste, ebenso an Küchenhelfern. Die Arbeitsplatte ist um das Waschbecken schwarz verschimmelt. Im Wohnzimmer lässt sich die Haustür nicht abschließen. Insgesamt sind Boden aber auch Oberflächen und Lampen nicht ausreichend gereinigt. In den Schlafräumen sind die Matratzen teilweise durchgelegen, in einem Schlafzimmer waren Marienkäfer in den Ecken. Ein Schlafzimmer befand sich offen auf dem Flur. Das oberste Spielzimmer ist vollgestellt mit altem und kaputtem Spielzeug. Das Zimmer ist als Schlafzimmer nicht akzeptabel. Auch der Garten ist in einem schlechten Pflegezustand und so nicht benutzbar. Insgesamt hat das Haus einen ganz eigenen historischen Charme, erinnert aber mehr an einen alten Trödelmarkt als an eine Unterkunft für Gäste.

Summary: Het verblijf in deze woning was niet fantastisch. In december is duidelijk dat het pand geen hoge energieklasse heeft. Dat de kachel warmpjes brandt was hard nodig. Voor het haardhout moeten bezoekers in ieder geval zelf zorgen. Vooraf zijn we vriendelijk uitgenodigd een gezellig vuurtje te branden, maar hout is er niet. Het hout dat op de binnenplaats ligt is van een omwonende die niet blij is als je dit hout denkt te gaan gebruiken. De wifi doet het niet. In een weekend met wereldcup voetbal vonden we dat een groot gemis. Sowieso is het voor pubers overleven als er geen wifi beschikbaar is. Een poging om dit te verhelpen kwam mij niet heel geloofwaardig over. De voordeur naar de binnenplaats kan niet dicht. In de winterse kou was dit niet echt genieten. Kortom: ondanks de goede bedoelingen van de verhuurder is het een huis met gebreken waar goed naar gekeken moet worden om het op een aanvaardbaar niveau te krijgen.

Summary: Al Mezon... Het begon al bij de ontvangst. Enerzijds heel Vriendelijk ontvangen met een mandje vol lekkers en een verse ruiker bloemen maar anderzijds (en daar begin het voor mij) werden we ontvangen zonder mondmasker, zonder afstand en alles werd aangeraakt en opengedaan door de persoon die ons de rondleiding gaf. Niet oke in corona tijden! De keuken en de badkamer beneden vonden we helemaal niet zo netjes (kalk op de koffiezetkan, gelige aanslag op muur achter gootsteen, een 5tal houten snijplankjes die zomaar open bloot aan de wasbak staan. Vuil bestek, geur in de ijskast en in het huis) De beneden badkamer: de glasplaat vd douche was wit van de kalk en het douchegordijn was onderaan helemaal beschimmeld, de badkamer-muren zien er ook niet zo netjes uit (zwarte aanslag van de vochtigheid) Toen ik hiervan melding maakte bij de eigenaar werden er de volgende dag wel een nieuw douchegordijn en nieuwe wc borstel geleverd. Samen met 4 stukken ijstaart(...) De slaapkamers zijn wel allemaal heel sfeervol en netjes. Al zou ik liever geen vasttapijt rond een toilet zien liggen. De matrassen op de witte kamer zijn wel aan vervanging toe. Alles is aanwezig in het huisje: van alles veel te veel zelfs. (als er hier geen 50 borden en glazen en kommetjes te vinden zijn, dan vind je ze nergens) Doordat alles zo volgepropt zit in de kasten heb je nergens ruimte om eigen keuken-proviand op te bergen. Alle zelf meegebrachte voedingsmiddelen die niet in de ijskast kunnen, staan dan maar een beetje overal op het aanrecht. Dit huisje is te boeken voor 9 personen: wij vonden het precies OK voor met 4 volw en 1 hond te komen. De tuin leent zicht niet tot een dagje gezellig in de tuin chillen: ongemakkelijke ligstoelen, amper gras en wat er staat is hoog en ligt vol met afgevallen kersen waardoor de tuin vergeven zit van de wespen. Bessenstruiken die over en door de omheining hangen en ervoor zorgen dat je niet met 4 rond de tafel kon zitten. Ik heb dan maar zelf voor tuinvrouw gespeeld en een uur lang de struiken ingekort en de bamboescheuten kort gezet:-( Hier 2 honden laten rondlopen? Neen, enerzijds door de wespen, anderszijds omdat de tuin te klein en helemaal niet onderhouden is. Brandnetels, bamboescheuten, mos op de twee tuintafels... Geen enkel plekje waar je languit met 4 personen, laat staan met 9(!), kunt chillen met een goed boek. We hadden de tuinspelen Kubbs en pétanque mee: maar dit kan je niet spelen in deze tuin wegens veel te klein. De tuin mist open ruimte, je zit er werkelijk in gevangen. Wij zijn dan maar elke dag op stap gegaan om 's avonds op het kleine terrasje te bbq'en en een kaartje te leggen. Dit huisje zou ik nooit meer huren en al zeker niet in de zomermaanden (ook al zorgen de dikke muren voor een frisse benedenverdieping) Buiten het ontbijt nuttigen en savonds een glaasje drinken kan je niets doen in de tuin. Een cottagetuin met veel hoekjes en kantjes kan leuk zijn maar dan moet hij verzorgd worden. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar.
