Summary: The house was perfect for my family of ten as we visited Marquette and surrounding areas. Showers were hot, towels were plenty and the beds were comfy! We loved the added bonus of meeting Stan, visiting the distillery and getting some history. This is a great place to stay!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful and Stan was great to work with. It is full of antiques but the bathrooms are updated and the beds were comfy.

Summary: Planning a family get together and needed to be close to Lindsborg- Marquette and The Preston House were perfect. Short, 10 minute drive to Lindsborg. While the town is a little quiet in the beginning of the week, the kids enjoyed a visit to the Motorcycle museum, the grandparents enjoyed nights of cards and visits around the huge dining room table and the adults enjoyed a special evening at the Smoky Valley Distillery, right on Main Street in front of the house. House was beautiful with its historic features, antique touches and modern amenities like updated bathrooms, kitchen and AC, thank goodness. It’s a great place for families to gather as long as you have guests that can climb stairs (only one bedroom downstairs. Beds were very comfortable and place was very clean. Host was very responsive and hospitable.

Summary: Beautiful home with tons of character! The beds and pillows were amazing! We had 4 couples staying and we were all comfortable with plenty of space to enjoy each other’s company. Stan was a pleasure to deal with concerning the house and we also thoroughly enjoyed the time we spent at the distillery and some of the other local businesses. Hoping to stay again in the future!

Summary: Stayed here for Midsommar in Lindsborg. Easy and pretty drive to Lindsborg. Marquette was a great place to stay. Kids enjoyed the public pool just a couple of blocks away. Grocery is across the street and the Distillery center is next door. There’s also a walking trail and frisbee golf. House had a great front porch for catching a breeze.
