Summary: We were a party of 5 adults and stayed for a week in this lovely villa. The location is superb, with great views over the surrounding countryside. It is a well equipped home beautifully restored and maintained with lovely outside areas. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. A comprehensive welcome basket was provided which was greatly appreciated and we found the kitchen well equipped apart from the lack of some sharp knives, which Alviero and Rosanna quickly organised for us when we asked. the pool is a lovely spot to cool off in during high summer. The outside seating area of the villa is a lovely spot for meals. The wine estate offers free tastings for guests staying in the estate and is worth a visit. There are so many beautiful towns and villages round about to visit too - too numerous to list but Siena is a must. There are good supermarkets in Castiglione del Lago and some excellent local restaurants though we mostly cooked evening meals in the house or on the barbecue as it was so pleasant to be there. We would certainly recommend this property to our friends and family.
