Summary: We have had the most warm welcome ever bij Gianni, Elena and Anna: kind words, soup and bread, fresh fruit, herbs from the garden: we felt at home at once! Our kids loved the house full off surprises: so many games and toys. The house is in a tiny village and close by the Lago Maggiore: plenty of beautifull villages and nice restaurants in the neighbourhood. There is one disadvantage: the football-table in the basement was so much fun that it is was quite addictive and added some serious competention between de boys and girls in our family ;-)...

Summary: The property is the perfect retreat and base from which to explore the area. Everything you could possibly need has been supplied, from utensils, kettle, coffee machine to various spices, salt, pepper, coffee etc. All cleaning materials are supplied, even washing powder and fabric softener. The bedrooms are large, bright and airy and have very comfortable beds. There is a large dining table inside and another outside, where we spent most of our time. There are all sorts of toys and games for children, plus an outdoor playground. Our daughter didn't want to leave! We even had bed guards supplied, which saved us packing them. The family have thought of everything. You literally couldn't wish for anything more. The whole place was spotlessly clean. Ideally, you need a car to be able to explore the area. There is private parking right outside the gate and we felt very comfortable that the car was perfectly safe there. We visited Como, Orta and several other towns and markets in the area, all within a short drive. A direct train from Stresa (15 mins away by car) takes you Milan in around an hour and is very reasonably priced. Free parking is available at and near the station. The hosts - from the moment we were greeted upon arrival we felt like we were part of the family. Gianni, Anna and Elena were very helpful and informative. We arrived to find fresh water and fruit ready for us. Gianni popped by with lettuces from his garden and Elena brought us a huge punnet of blueberries. They were insistent that if we wanted anything at all we should just call or message them. We would highly recommend this property, which has been our best experience of holiday rentals so far. It will be very difficult to beat. A huge thank you to the Magistris family for their kindness and generosity. We will be back!

Summary: We had a great stay in this house, which has generous space, including 3 bedrooms and a very well equipped kitchen. It is perfect for families with kids, having the lower floor fully dedicated to a play area for the small and not so small ones. The garden also has some amenities for the family, including deckchairs, swings and a trampoline. Elena and her family are extremely friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome here and would love to come back again. Thanks Elena!
