Positive: This is great value for money in Gulu. Better than any hotel in town and cheaper than what people consider the best (and most expensive) hotel in town.

Positive: Really nice location and structure. Love the greenery in the compound. Being able to catch a bit of Netflix and TV was a great option (included) A water chiller/ heater unit was a great facility to immediately get cool water or hot drinks. The Wifi was excellent too. Generally the whole facility was just what we needed for a relaxing evening after a busy hot day. Mosquito nets on the beds were well fitting and fuss free (and no holes!) An emergency lantern in the living room was a great addition.
Negative: Well, it said aircon, but a fan on a stand does not make it aircon, and we couldn't find a washing machine, but we were not there long enough to worry, and suspect if we had asked at the gatehouse they could have illuminated us about its location., but it wasn't in the flat

Positive: The entire property is secure, quiet and kept in clean order. The caretakers are always available and respond to needs promptly! I enjoyed relaxing on my balcony surrounded by beautiful gardens which are well kept. Drinking water was provided throughout my stay as Gulu is very hot. The care takers do your laundry at a small fee.There is a mosquito net in the bedroom and electric mosquito repellent in every room. I would advise to still take mosquito body oil repellent while sitting outdoors and livingroom. As there were many mosquitos.

Positive: The place is so beautiful when you enter. I loved the greenery, the flowers and shrubs looked lovely. They clean the compound every single day. The property is very easy to find and in a good location. It is safe and secure.

Positive: I was looking for accommodation that was located in a quiet place but not far from town. One which was clean, had friendly staff and security was crucial. So I started to search on Booking .Com as always. I kept going back to one particular accommodation, which was Elena & Kimberly, not only was it perfectly located but reviews from previous guests were amazing and that was what I wanted to hear about people's experiences while staying there. So I arrived there on the 15th July and extended my stay to 8 days, thanks to the manager Barbara who was happy to accommodate us. We were warmly received on arrival and shown to our 2 bedroom apartment which was modern and airy with a large TV and even drinking water was provided. It's an open-plan concept, so you see the other family members while in the kitchen area. The bedrooms were very clean with fresh bedding, and storage was plenty more than in most hotels. The bathroom was very clean too and yes there was hot water. The apartments have balconies with chairs and tables so one can relax there. Better still, one can relax in the very beautifully landscaped garden with cool breezes. The apartments are cleaned daily, but I felt that it was not necessary for our apartment. The staff are very friendly and always available to assist you, for example one of the girls helped me with my laundry as I had extended my stay. One thing I also liked very much was that the manager Barbara went out of her way to assist me. She helped me with my shopping in town (Gulu Market) and also on High Street, ensuring we bought the best produce, etc, and she was always available, just a phone call away. The security is very good, so the majority of the time, I was very comfortable leaving my son (young teen boy) in the apartment for a few hours.
Negative: I can't complain about anything. I only regret not staying there when we visited Gulu in 2022 just because on that visit, I was not the one responsible for sorting out the accommodation . What a shame

Positive: I really appreciate the security, calm and serenity of the apartment. The location of the apartment was great. The service provide by the staff was excellent.
Negative: Please make one small office as reception and recharge more the cash power for the electricity to avoid the electricity went off at the time you don't except thanks.

Positive: Lovely and specious apartment in the center of Gulu with all amenities to prepare meals, comfortable beds and balcony. Quiet and safe compound.
Negative: Be aware that this property has no generator and we did loose electricity for a whole night with the power being reinstated back at 1pm the next day. No alternative light source i.e. touches etc provided by the owner until we had requested for this. For the price requested for the accommodation I would expect a generator to manage such instances.
Summary: Lovely apartment - be aware there is no back up generator for when the electricity goes

Positive: My Partner and I really enjoyed our Stay at Elena and Kimberly, the Personal were very attentive at work. Communication is easy and Spontaneous over Whatsapp. Incase of Power loss, no Panik let the personal know and will be immediately reinstated. The Apartment is spacious, modern TV with all the Goodies. Check utensils, if you need anything just ask. The area is green, well kept, town is 3mins away with Car and 10 by foot. Lovely Apartment
